This match was actually very one sided despite Murray won the first set, after that Djokovic put on a masterclass performance, he approached the net many times became more agressive and took time away from Murray, he was also flying all over the court. He got a bit nervous at the end, but he was able to finish it. Still one of his sweetest wins in career and one of my favourite matches I watched. I wish I was there at Chatrier, someday maybe I will get the opportunity to watch him at this stage before he retires. Until then I hope he can win at least one more Roland Garros and It would be nice if he wins it this year. Thank you and good night

@@travisbickle5279 I get what you mean, in a lot of sports it's rare for the best to have 1 rival that is nearly as good if not as good as them, but in Tennis Djokovich has 2.....plus Andy Murray was no slouch when he was at his best, even though he only won 3 slams, he was in 11 finals. Novak has 20 slams just like Nadal and Fed, but Novak's 20 are much stronger than the other 2. For one, he won his 20 while the other players were competing, Federer had like 13 slams before Novak won his first. Nadal had 3 before Djokovich won his first. Nadal won 13 of his 20 slams at Roland Garros (which obviously makes him the greatest clay court player of all time, no question) but he hasn't won many at other Grand Slams. Nadal has never beaten Djokovich at Aus Open while Djokovich is the only person to beat Nadal at RG twice. Djokovich has beaten Federer 3 times at Wimbledon and the reverse has only happened once. Federer has beaten Djoko at Aus Open (once) Djoko is the only person to hold all 4 GS at once and only one to win all 4 slams at least twice in his career, proving that he is the most versatile. He is the best.

For me as a murray fan this is the toughest defeat. Federer at wimbledon 2012 was brutal (murray wasn't even a major champion yet) but winning a major on his most unnatural surface would've been arguably the biggest achievement of his career. Djokovic just too good though. A guy with slightly less mental strength might've crumbled after the first set and the pressure to secure this last elusive major; but Djokovic is some sort of stoic genius and only got stronger.

Novak is everywhere in the clay. Amazing match. This is Djokovic's first roland gaross and that's why he mentioned this is his best day of his career. Andy have lost many finals with Novak but he managed to beat Novak in the final wimbledon ( I don't remember the year). After all this, Novak, Nadal, federer have collected 60 Grand Slams for last 18 years. That's amazing thing and truly historic we were living that special tennis era.

Djokovic didn’t beat Nadal in a RG final but he did beat him twice on the way to finals which is incredible when you consider that Nadal is a clay court god. Nadal wasn’t even close to beating Djokovic in the Wimbledon final they played but pushed Djokovic all the way in the 2018 Semi-Final.

To think that Novak Djokovich is one of the main reasons why Murray only won 3 Grandslams, Murray's only FO Final was a loss against Novak and 3 of Murray's 5 AO finals were losses against Novak is astonishing. Like Murray is a champion anyway you look at it, he is a 3 time Grand Slam winner on 2 different surfaces......but Novak is on another level. Murray in any other Era would be a 10 maybe 15 time Grand slam winner.......but he was playing in the same era as the 3 greatest Tennis players ever.

Novak all time complete player in Tennis History. Serve, Return, Fore hand, Back hand, Slice, Serve and Volley. He does everything. Physical and emotional Mental Gaint. The long match goes, the more chances he could win. If he didn't have that slump from 2016 wimbledon to 2018 French Open, we all know who would leader of the GS and I masters 1000 titles.
