DK Shivakumar seeks Dr Gopalkrishna’s advice on transforming education in K’taka

Speaking on visiting National Public School and revisiting old memories, Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar on May 29 said that his visit included a discussion with Dr Gopalkrishna over his suggestions on transforming education in Karnataka keeping a focus on the rural population.
He said, “I am student of this school and my three children studied here (National Public School). It is one of the prestigious schools and the first autonomous school in this country. Dr Gopalkrishna is an institution in himself.”“We have put up a lot of things on primary education in our manifesto. We acknowledge him and wanted his guidance as to how to take it forward. We want the rural students specially people from the downtrodden and farmer community, all of them should get the quality education, what we had and what I had,” he added.

Writting competitive exam in regional language started by BJP. In 2013-14 medical College in India 387. In 2023 medical College in India 695 and also medical seats are increased.2013 in Congress rule only 15 IITs in India. Presently in PM Narendra Modi rule 23 IITs India. Now, was there any reason for you to advertise like this. Now this school will get more lands, funds to open many more schools. Can the school promise good education with subsidised fees, so that every socio economic section of the community will have access to quality education. Only then you can yourself as a social reformer, educationist etc. Because at the moment it is possible only for the so called rich Elite, which is discriminatory by itself.
