Its funny DK looked a bit foreign to this car in this video. He was the one who drove Mine's R34 back then and made it legendary and famous. It has been my favorite and ultimate R34 eversince that video and wish to have my R34 tuned by Mine's but the engine block alone cost a bomb.

I still remember him driving and comparing the mines r34 and a big tuner supra turbo. He said the supra was very fast and that the r34 was scary fast or something like that 😅

This is the Mine's store front. I've been there and I have no idea where the actual manufacturing shop is. A lot of people show up there, filling up that lot or park at the convenience store next to it since they have those parts in their store there and a couple cars.

I'm not sure why they think the R34 is popular in the US as it's still not legal for importation. The car has to be 25 years old or older in order to meet gray market import requirements. Here in a couple years, it'll be eligible but no it's not a popular model in the US. Beyond that, the primary reason the US is snatching Skyline's up is not because of the Fast & Furious. We'd already seen them in Gran Turismo games and car magazines yeas before. I'm sure the F&F franchise helped, but really it's the hype surrounding the GTR badge which has prompted so many American importations.

Debatable. I guess it depends on who you ask. You really only have to ask a few people to know their reason.. who are willing to pay a high price for this car currently. 2F2F was a big hit. People who are into cars and into tuning cars and going to shows watched it, that's for sure. A movie can really elevate a car's "fame", unlike a game or car magazines. At least that's how i look at it.
