Yea maybe, though the changing lighting would be an issue. These cameras like to be used in a very controlled environment.

Yes that is possible, the thing that surprises me is why it is sealed for what was a very expensive bit of kit. Unless when they were repaired by DVT they had a safe technique to get the boards out and the case was sacrificial.

@@DextersTechLab It kindof makes sense that it's 100% sealed (although the cable connections aren't really sealed very well). In a lot of industrial applications, you have a lot of nasty stuff in the air that gets onto and into everything, and you want to keep as much of that out of things to keep them working as long as possible. I'm sure with the price they charged for these things compared to the actual cost of the hardware, the hardware is essentially a throw away item. If you charge $10k for a camera that probably cost $200, and it breaks, you wouldn't even bother spending time diagnosing it - just grab another $200 camera off the shelf and replace it.
