I know it's not very productive to anthropomorphize, but I find it interesting that my main reaction when watching old beaten up and dirty equipment become as new is to label the item as... Uhm... "Happy". It looks so happy when cleaned up. It's a bit like those sappy tearjerker videos where old mistreated strays are taken in by a loving home and we see them after they have accepted that they have a new loving family.

Also. I know this channel is mostly about restoring old tech. Nut does anyone know of a channel that really shows off these Paintboxes and shows finalized artworks and animations done in Paintbox as opposed to the "mere" technical showcases that just shows some random brush strokes? I mean... Is there madman (or mad-woman) out there that is basically the Bob Ross of Paintbox? There is a niche to be filled here methinks. Maybe... Hmmm... Is there a good emulator that one can play with? I have a beefy computer and a wacom stylus input device. It should be possible methinks.
