These are my notes on a nice series AD&D module by Dave Brown and Don Turnbull. I provide what I think a DM should look for when getting ready to run this adventure.

We never got to play this one . Really enjoyed UK1 and we were a TPK in UK2 which I still liked. I use the Salt Marsh I built for these modules as a base all the time. UK3 seems like a tough one to play.

I used a hook for the Wizard. He could get a land grant for the rundown estate from U1, and 1 year of tax-free status if he helped Saltmarsh with their problems. We're starting U3 now and the Wiz wants the old mansion torn down with the hopes of a future site for a tower at some point. You are correct though. U3 is going to be a titanic undertaking for any group.

I think this has to be a pure invisible, silenced party creeping through the dungeon. They need to have been loaded with water magic. I had a lot of Adventures in Salt Marsh so there was a lot for a party to do. Pure Spy module I think.
