Going into the woods and making howler noises to scare people off has to be the most scooby doo like thing I've ever heard. It seems art imitates life

The Moonshiner’s howl getting the captive red wolves to respond makes me wonder if there are wild wolves that have been interacting with moonshiners for the last century.

I was inspired by Steve Irwin when I was 10, and saw that same spark when I saw Forrest on Joe Rogan Experience and I decided to become King of Conservation, the greatest and freest conservationist of all with a reserve bigger than Cape Town and New York combine. It may not be a real title but I'm going to make it a real title!!!!❤💥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

As an Arkansan, I love to see segments like this done on the wildlife of our great country. Growing up in the woods we've always heard tales of creatures that howl in the night. Some folks understood it was partly people expanding on the legend of a real creature to protect their property/equipment. But it's awesome to see some science going into proving that tales of the Ozark Howler are real and go back to a creature as majestic, necessary, and primal as the Red Wolf.

I’m the founder of four Australian wildlife groups, I’m definitely an expert of “Nothing” lol, but I love helping our wildlife, and helping others. This is by far one of the “COOLEST” videos I’ve ever seen. From the expression on Jess’ face, tasting the “LEMONADE” 😂 to the Wolves responding to the moonshiners call. And obviously the crew getting tipsy 😂 Thank you so much, for making the perfect blend of Good Goosebump content. I “THOROUGHLY” enjoyed watching this video, I’m still grinning like an absolute freak at my iPhone 7 🤣🤣🤣 You guys rock lol

I am from missouri and I live very close to the ozarks. I hunt hike and fishing them. I have seen on two occasions wild red wolves in the ozarks mountains. Everyone says I'm full of it, but I'm well versed in canidid species, they're definitely reds!refs! And that's exactly the howl... They're still out here....
@alexanderblackburn4520
@alexanderblackburn4520 Жыл бұрын
A decent amount of older folks in the missouri Ozarks will still tell you that wolf's exist in the Ozarks, which isn't that surprising considering Missouri department of conservation denied mountain existence and claimed bears were incredibly rare in the area (which neither is true).

Maybe the old man isn't telling. That pelt is obviously nothing close to the descriptions of people who have seen these things close up and personal. Red wolves are smaller wolves that resemble coyotes. They don't have long black hair or walk on their hind legs, to my knowledge.

That was the fakest of fakes I have seen on "reality" TV. The cranky moonshiner trope... that turns into the happy hillbilly trope... the trickery and foreshadowing of the moonshiner's Ozark howl vs. the recorded Red Wolf howl. Wow! I have a pelt... wow, I have a skull... wow, I can perform on demand. This episode would be entertaining for children... not adults.
