Dmitry Bivol made his fifth successful defense of the WBA light heavyweight title against Joe Smith Jr, winning via unanimous decision.
Bivol extends his undefeated record to 16-0 while Smith drops to 24-3, and loses his second fight since recording back-to-back wins over Andzej Fonfara and Bernard Hopkins in 2016.
All three judges ruled in favour of Bivol 118-110, 119-109 and 119-109.

Bivol wasn't knocked down, he was thrown down a wrestling technique employed by Smith and Canelo Alvarez. If boxing don't work let's try wrestling.

In the full fight bivol destroyed Joe smith. Smith didn’t win a round and it ended quite embarrassing for smith. Outclassed on every level

The thing that stands out about Bivol is how accurate he is.That over hand right he took near the end of the fight he didn't go down but looks like he was concussed.If it was earlier in the round he would have been in real trouble

My guy Bivol is an absolute tank. He’s like the energizer bunny just keeps going and going. Not like Canelo he starts running from time to time unlike Bivol he’s moving in a fast paste and still throwing punches respect man. I would love to see Bivol vs Canelo 2 lol

bivol is built different man. relentless pace. to do what he does technically is impressive, to do it 12 rounds consistently is amazing.
