Alex is without question one of the greatest Metal Vocalist to ever walk the face of the planet. I’ve seen/heard hundreds of vocalist in the genre that is Metal but Alex? I’ve never seen or heard anything like him before. The Ferociousness, The Versatility, The Charisma, The Stage Presence, The Sense Of Humor. He makes you want to run for your life from him yet at the same time give him a hug. The man is still able to send you to the hospital while sitting in a chair. He’s one of a kind. Alex just took one of THE heaviest game OSTs out there, wrote some lyrics and literally dragged us down to Hell just to perform it to us. The OST for DOOM ad DOOM: Eternal was written, produced and mixed by composer Mick Gordon.

The work of Mick Gordon is the stuff of legend, especially his work on DOOM and DOOM Eternal. ID Software decided they werent going to pay/use Mick's work after he had already put in mad hours on the album. He even went so far as to invite about 10-12 metal vocalists from well known bands to do the chorus for Kar En Tuk (Rip and Tear). Even tho the head of ID Software did him dirty, Mick still finished the album for the fans and for the sake of DOOM. Alex has some of the most brutal vocals i've ver heard. Ever since I heard him do vocals for Mick Gordon's The Only Thing They Fear Is You, I've wanted to hear him do BFG Division also. Mick even said of Alex's TOTTFIY cover "I've cant say for sure Alex is the Doom Slayer, but I've also never seen them in the same room together...". Love the reaction guys, pls do more Mick Gordon stuff and Alex Terrible stuff.

I've beaten Doom Eternal on Nightmare difficulty so I know what feeling this game gives me...and I dunno, I just don't think this vocal style fits the game. I may just be biased, maybe I don't like the style in general. But the Doomguy basically never talks, so it feels very much like a guy trying to sound tough, when all Doomguy needs to do is pump his shotgun and demons run. Still impressive that he can go that hard while sitting down, though.
