I am still watching your video (a 12 minute video takes me days because I am a noob and need time to figure things out in Blender), but I think this is great so far, but have a couple of suggestions: 1) Use something that displays on the screen what keys you are pressing. It would be helpful in the parts where you just display a timelapse to help us follow along. 2) When saying something that doesn't appear on the screen, write it down somehow, as annotations or something. English is not my first language and this kind of thing would help me understand some bits that were hard to hear. For example, when you started making the shader and got the mapping and texture coordinate nodes, you said something like "if you have the XYZ add on you can just press ABC" and I couldn't understand what that was. Anyway, I subscribed and am looking forward to your future videos! :)

my end result just doesn't look like yours :( could you share an image with the final shaders? I can't find what I did wrong

Is your object origin in the right place? Or are you talking about the shading?
@mix-up90033 жыл бұрын
Sorry to bother I was nearly done with the tutorial. The weird thing that's happening to me for some reason, is that when I render my image sequences the front of the metal tubing disappears as if the X-ray feature in the shading mode. Also for some reason in eevee the way the notes interact make it so that the material looks somehow partly transparent and no matter how many time(I am on three now) I try to redoo the node sets it's always the same. could you help me with this please?
@neyshkaslkeraxepithelium72652 жыл бұрын
You must uncheck "Show Backface" option underneath clip threshold for the alpha blend property to fix this.

If I try this fine technique on a bended curve, the transformation occurs along the X- or Y-side of the empty. How could I control this, so that the transformation occurs from the beginning towards the end of the curve?
