Made me laugh from a pure joy of discovery. Subscription earned. Love your style and speed. - ps I wanted to see you apply a cast to sphere modifier to make it bulge out like in a curved screen display. I will have to try that myself. LOL - hey, it works! had to use Shrinkwrap modifier with hidden half sphere, and "project" wrap method locked to Z axis.

Hi ! I love this tutorial however I'm asking if, instead of using modifiers to change the shape and have intersting UV, if it is possible to just reshape the UV and tile it using vector nodes, and then work like you are working here. I know I can just render the animation and then use it as an image map, but I'm looking for a workflow to directly, on screen of a ship, have this kind of animation and being able to apply other textures (like glitchs, noise...) with a correct UV we can find on a plane

Hi Patrick, great video! As soon as you click "insert single keyframe" for the Y scale of the mapping node at 9:23, the "hud mesh" immediately popped up in your graph editor, but when I click insert single keyframe, nothing pops up in my graph editor. I can't follow the tutorial beyond that point. What might the issue be?
