Hello there and thanks for watching! This topic is actually something I've debated doing a video on before but wasnt sure how many homeschoolers have "onlys". Prior to CVOID we had lots of different activities and playdates... now with CVOID restrictions we are utilizing alot of different online platforms. There are so many resources, activities, and platforms available that socialization isnt ever an issue...more often it's being careful not to schedule too many activities 😊

Hi! I’m looking into this program for my 5 year old. I’ve been confused on whether I can get away with not buying any of the letter tiles and just purchasing the app? Would you recommend one over the other? Thank you so much for this.

Hello! Yes you can absolutely use the app in place of the tiles. Tiles are great for those that need the hands on aspect. The app works great and you dont need to worry about losing the tiles. The tiles/app are used some during the lesson but there is a lot of copy work and dictation also. The company does recommend that AAR level 1 be completed prior to starting AAS. Do you do that and All About Reading on the same day? It seems like it would be a lot of the same activities.

Yes they did overlap some days, but the reading lesson was different from spelling. For us the actual activities for both are much different usually. Spelling also was not done every single day which probably helps with that.

For adults Without the student pack, from only the teacher manual book could we learn rules.

The student packet would come with the tiles and cards, yes I would think if you had the teachers guide you could easily make your own "student packet" 😊
