Do Boeing 777s & 787s Also Have Quality Issues? FAA Investigates New Claims

A Boeing quality engineer has become the latest whistleblower for the United States aircraft manufacturer, alleging that shortcuts have been taken in the processes involved with the Boeing 787 and 777 variants. The Federal Aviation Administration has already stepped in to investigate these claims. Longtime employee by the name of Sam Salehpour has alleged that shortcuts have been taken in order for the manufacturer to reach its strict targets, bypassing its standard processing to produce the aircraft faster.

If they removed and checked the aft pressure bulkhead I suspect that over 20 percent will be found to have at least one fault.. they should of course have zero faults..

I would suspect Boeing would deny the claims but Salehpour should have waited for the FAA, and NTSB to do their investigations before going to the media.

787 might be another future Titan submersible, but in the sky 😢 I worry about composite delamination with repeated pressurizations .. once it propagates, it will be difficult to detect
