I also have the Pelagos. It’s easily the most accurate watch in my collection that isn’t a battery powered watch. Although my GS sbga471 Spring Drive is also very accurate. But in standard movements, this watch speaks volumes.

I think had it been Matt finish and slightly bigger it would have been a winner … I own the black OG 42 mm pelly and for me it’s still the best tool watch on the market today… the Matt finish and stealthy tool vibe give it an industrial under the radar look and it’s so comfortable.. and even tho it’s thicker wears extremely well.. but if they slimmed it down just a tad it would be the perfect watch. I think if the 39 had the new fxd matte look with the red text and a bracelet boom 💥 it would fly off the shelves!

I just cant stand shiny dial. If this one shares everything as og Pelagos but in 39mm case id go for this one but no in Tudor they decided putting shiny dial and lowering water resistent😖

I wonder about Tudor, specifically the pricing. If the brand wasn't so closely associated with Rolex, would the brand stand on its own merit? For the price, I think Breitling is the way to go.

Thanks for watching! Hmm, I would say from the Tudors I have, they definitely are able to stand on their own. They do get the benefit of being associated with Rolex in terms of their tech and quality. Their price point also is pretty good, although with the price hikes recently it's a bit more debateable.

Awesome review. I just subscribed too 😅. I'm really considering this Pelagos 39. The Speedy 3861 hesalite wears big and the dial feels huge on the wrist and water resistance doesn't help it. I sold the Speedy. Now I'm thinking on this Pelagos 39 or just go for a 14060-2 liner. 😂 watch collecting choices

I do own a Pelagos 42 they are a beautifu watch, and it's a very good time keeper.. I would say hold onto your Peleagos 39er, i would like one also 👍 Au

My main gripe with it is the titanium. Because I love the Pelagos 39, I have forced myself to be content with titanium. When I wear it, I do miss the shine factor of steel. Due to the dimensions, it would not weight too much in 316L steel. I can see how titanium is warranted with the large 42mm Pelagos models, but it’s not warranted here. Nonetheless, I am happy with it and will therefore keep my Pelagos.

That’s a fair assessment. The size is fantastic and feels great on the wrist. But it definitely does not pop as much as polished steel.

Sold my 39mm pelagos after a month. Idk... it was just off imo. The titanium color. Light wt. And I just kept wanting my 5digit sub. Was worth a try, and the size is perfect. Tudor are overpriced, imo as well. Should be under 2k

I always ask myself why people set and wind the watches in such a fast/aggressive way... be gentle with your time piece.
