If the Probate process in your State is not very cumbersome or expensive, a Will based plan may be used more commonly. There are also beneficiary deeds that pass either to a person or trust as well, so lots of different techniques just depending on your goals and local rules.

Please don’t add a child to the title of your house! Watch this video first: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/ichontGC0sWzhqc.html and then use either a Living Trust or at very least a beneficiary deed to transfer property outside of Probate and in a tax advantaged way.
