The last verse to not like us is a direct response to the slave line in family matters. The A-Minor line is a direct response to the Dave Free line. The hardest verse in Meet the Grahams was not the daughter verse, it was the last verse. Drake responded to not having a daughter, but the song was about him and his entire immediate family. Did the lines land about his character, his mom, dad, and bm? Also, Kendrick was smart not responding to what he felt to be nonsense. As soon as you play victim and start trying to explain and rebut every bar, you lost.

Agree with all this but the hardest verse of MTG is actually when he is addressing the parents. It also contains implications of the “ring” that Drake is a part of. Also says he wants Drake to die, and be locked up with Weinstein.

The big kicker on Meet the Grahams is the Weinstein, sex offender stuff. The daughter thing is just what the fans focus on and not what he’s saying ABOUT Drake to the daughter. To say he didn’t rebuttal anything is disingenuous. He rebuttaled what he needed to keep him on offense. For legality sake Drake had to rebuttal the pedo stuff

The moment you sound on DEFENSE mode you have likely LOST. Kendrick was the aggressor the moment we heard Like That. Kendrick did address aubrey. Literally in the first verse of euphoria when he is talking to him saying i know EXACTLY what you are about to say because you're a MASTER MANIPULATOR. You listened to Mr. Morale and i can smell the tales on you now. Then we get to see in real time aubrey do EXACTLY what Kenny said he would do. Then Kenny tells us on Not Like Us "The audience not dumb/ Shape the stories how you want/ Hey, Drake, they're not slow". In other words aubrey had no proof of any of the outlandish 💩 he was spatting. The only thing in question from Kenny was does aubrey really have a daughter. Long story longer. Kenny broke down exactly what was going to happen. So he did answer and prophesied what would happen. Kendrick Lamar Duckworth. 🐐👑🥋

Why yall acting like it wasn't easy to dissect Drake in a diss song? Yall forgetting how fast people were pumping out BBL Drizzy disses? I wrote a whole diss in a couple hours. Whether it was prepared or not, Kendrick's hit harder. The daughter thing didn't matter to me because the other verses on the song are easily analyzing Drake's character as a person.

If you truly watch battle rap, you’d know that the greats (Mook, Lux, Serius, Hollow, etc.) ALL use their opening lines to rebuttal whatever their opponent just said before getting into their prewritten verses. Actually, Arsonal might be the best at this.
