The 2.3 liter turbo 4 cyl has a single twin scroll turbo charger. It does not have two turbos therefore not a dual turbocharged engine.

Dont forget the insurance. I had a 20 Mustang GT Premium with almost every package. My insurance doubled, and when i got 10 different quotes they were doubled and tripled than what i was paying. Had to get rid of it. Keep in mind i have a perfect driving record for over 20 years now and great credit. 🤷

One thing to point out, could be wrong, I do not think you can get the Tremac 6 speed with the GTs, it has to be the Dark Horse. I am playing with the build a car on Ford website and GTs onlybhave the standard 6 speed which I heard isn't a great transmission.

If it was $66,000 I’d attempt to buy it. A dealership here has was one listed for $105,000

I agree with you, the price is steep for a 5.0 @ 500HP compared to the Camaro and Challenger. Maybe next year when the competition is completely gone it might seem like a better deal ??. I still give FORD a lot of credit to produce this car in a declining market.

I'd go with the ZL1 or a 2019 - 2020 GT350 used, under 7k miles for the same price or less. In 2 years, the Dark Horse won't be as new and shiny.

I would recommend the Dark Horse over a regular GT, the Reason the Standard GT has 14 inch Rotors the Dark Horse has 15 inch Brake Rotors, and My 2022 Roush Mustang has 16.5 Brake Rotors, with Footlong Calipers. It also has an up tuned MagneRider Suspension (in the Canyons No Matter how Hard you take a Corner it won't Lean, or Dip on Hard Braking), and the Limited Slip Intercooled Rear Differential (Off from the GT500). My Roush is an Up-tuned Mach1 Handling Pack. I even have footage in a Narrow Cayon Road I never been at, 1st Time on the Road and Opened her up pretty good 👨🏻👍🏻🏎🏎🏁🏁🚩🚩

Is the new Mustang Dark Horse worth $66,000? Massive screens, cheap interior! It has always been a cheap interior with panel gaps on the outside. You said you drove and owned many of them. What did you expect? It's a Mustang. Plastic is everywhere. I agree it is a bit overpriced. If I could get the Costco auto program and get 5k of MSRP like I did with my new car a few years back, I'd get this car. Unfortunately, deals like this haven't been around since 2020.

The MACH 1 whooped the Camaro 1SS 1LE at Car and Drivers Lightning Lap, beating it by 3 full seconds. If you know anything about lap times, that’s an eternity. That made 3 NA Mustangs that posted faster times than the 1LE. The PP2, MACH 1 and GT350R. The Mach 1 was the fastest of all 3 Mustangs and was the fastest car tested by Car and Driver under $75k. The Dark Horse is the newest iteration of the MACH 1 so yeah, that Dark z Hirse shouldn’t surprise you… everyone needs to let go of the mustangs crashing leaving car meets. Those are examples of people who don’t k kw how to drive a RWD car with a ton of power. Why are they all Mustangs that crash? Ford has sold more than 10 MILLION of them worldwide and Mustang has outsold the Camaro by like 4 to 1 and the challenger as well, save the last couple years…Is the Dark Horse expensive, yes. But look around, every car is mad $$$$$$. Avg price of a new car in USA was $38k. Avg price of new car in 2023 in USA is !48k. That’s avg price. Average! The Dark Horse is far from avg. it’s a lot of dough, but in todays market, it’s worth it. After Jan of 24’ there will be no more Camaros made and sooner than that for the Challenger. So, the Mustang is the only game in town. Frankly, FORD Could list this car with a base MSRP of $69k instead of $59k and they would sell each and every one of them. And no, look on Autotrader or anywhere online, you cannot buy a new ZL1 for less than $75k and same for a Hellcat. You can however buy a DarkHorse for less than $65k which makes this $10k cheaper than those 2 and priced perfectly…the Dark Horse is expensive, $66k for any new car is a lot of money to spend unless you’re making north of $200k. It’s really is… but I’m todays maker with the push for EV and the death of the Camaro and the Dodge V8’s I think it’s worth every penny and more…regarding how good FORD has made the Mustangs over the last 5 years when the PP2 was released. Take a look for yourself below. They 1LE was left for dead by the Blue Oval. The 1LE is the media darling and always has been but it’s time to wake up hall. The 1SS 1LE was the best in 2015 through 17, FORD took over, on the track with respect to lap times in 2018 with the PP2.
