Thank you jimmy this has concerned me for a long time, the rising statistics of false fire alarm set-off is a pressing concern for me. Personally, I have always been bothered by people falsely pulling a fire alarm. Also i have pulled a fire alarm before, but it was not in a controlled environment, but its ok because it was a drill. I'm sorry that I pushed the emergency fire alarm switch just because the emergency switches are very close to the desk that I was about to do my work on the computer at the morning. That must have been a very bad placement for the computer desk and the emergency switches. I use the door release switch (but although it says emergency door release) but I don't use fire alarm switches unless if there is a fire lockdown. I promise that I will never push the emergency fire switch ever again unless if there is a fire like I already said

Another thing I wanna add is that if the fire department responds to a false alarm and there’s a fire going somewhere they could be at the false alarm and could possibly be to late

I agree with you. I don’t know if this is true or not but I heard on other PSAs where people said that the air conditioner shuts off if the fire alarm is pulled. Is that true?
