The compass thing was part of a program to give aircrews who bailed over enemy lines a chance to evade and escape. It would also help POWs that had escaped the prison camp. There was a whole project of sneaky items including silk maps and flight boots that could convert to shoes. Try a search for escape aids for prisoner of wars.

@@water5210 Yeah think of standing flying boots that bomber pilots wore back then to keep warm. But the legging part would disconnect from the shoe so you end up with a civilian looking shoe. Don't know if things could reconnect or not.

Saw an article about the bear in the pig pen, the owners said that the darker pig is scared of his own shadow, but still came running when he saw his buddy in trouble. They're both perfectly fine too!

my dog died because of his leash he was climbing walls and the chainleash got tangled from where it was attached and shortened the chain and fell he strangled to death because of it i am not home when this happen(it was a long chain but he probably moving to much that it got tangled up)

They only seem as harmless and docile as they do because we breed them that way, and if we ever stop actively breeding them that way they'll turn into wild boar within a couple generations. Wild boar, the animals that you needed a special spear to hunt back in the time of spears because if yours didn't have that large bar on it the boar would run straight up the thing and skewer you back. Without our constant supervised breeding these animals are smart, ruthless, strong, and dangerous. If a wild boar thinks you're a threat and you don't have artillery on hand you will be flayed and stomped until the perceived threat is eliminated, so be kind to swine

@@WlatPziupp it's not "a couple of generations" it's ONE generation. After a single generation in the wild they turn right back into boars, brown or black with fully grown tusks. Down in the south United States they are a huge threat and people in the country need to have semi-automatic rifles to deal with them if they wander onto the property.

weight limit normally is 25kg, which is over 51lb, so I do not think she is trying to screw over, if it's not a joke he should also film the actual weight limit, he did not film it because the weight limit is probably 55lbs, and he is the guy that is screwing people around, try to make her look bad

@@Jason-jb1vs um no, I always travel as 2 passengers so 25kg limit is not a new thing for us but you can combine them both since you're travelling together (so I can imagine the guy in the video is travelling with someone else) so it will be 50kg and the weight in the video went to 51kg when she backed off it's 49kg, it doesn't matter, 51kg is still over 50kg overall, it makes a big difference because the extra fine you get is fucking huge, I remembered them telling our fine is even close to upgrading to business class rate and I was like, yeah can't pay that fine

I would say the flat 2x1 legos are a bit more difficult to separate, but then again this guy’s gotta add a difficulty multiplier

Definitely, you can twist the 1x1s but not 1x2s.

I would also point out that any larger plate with a smaller plate nested in the middle of it (for example 2x2 centered on a 4x4) is way harder to take apart than any two plates of the same size (such as a 2x2 on a 2x2, or even a 4x4 on a 4x4).

2x2s stuck together are the worst. The 1x1s you can twist and I the 2x2s stick together stronger than 1x2s and aren’t big enough to flex

The 1x1 bricks can be easily separated by twisting one and grabbing the exposed corners. The ones with more studs are a lot harder to separate as you can't twist them

So, just a PSA for anyone who doesn't know, sometimes waking a sleep walker is necessary. Since they go through the motions when they're asleep, but aren't fully aware of their surroundings, it could be potentially dangerous to them if they try using a knife or get outside

2:07 actually, those flat 1x1s are pretty easy to pry apart. Just turn them so that the one on top has its corners facing the flat sides of the one on the bottom. The corners will stick out, giving you a leverage to easily take them apart.

There's actually a really easy way to separate those two pieces. You simply grab them both, twist them so their corners are facing opposite directions, and grab both corners and pull them apart.

In my own experience as a former sleepwalker, I would recall getting extremely pissed off/agrivated when someone would try to get my attention or wake me up. This sometimes led to me fighting someone in my sleep(which to anyone who attempts otherwise, I would NOT suggest trying to do so) I gave black eyes and marks i didn't think possible within my own capabilities

I had a friend who was a sleepwalker and we were fooling around with the group of mutual friends entertaining ourself by choking eachother to the point of almost blacking out (dumb as fuck i know, but it was for some reason hot trend among "kool kids" back then). So when it was his turn he overdid it and blacked out, and while being unconscious and unresponsive he stood up, grab a broom and proceed to violently beat the shit out of us. He has no recollections of the event when he came to his senses.

1:06 This happens more often than you expect. As a utility worker in the Los Angeles area, the usual culprit are garbage trucks driving forward with their forks still in the air. Usually in alley ways in high density small business zones that use those large industrial bins. They usually get caught on the local cable/telephone company lines, the power lines are usually a little too high for their forks, but it still rips down the whole pole or at least rips the wiring enough to yank a few poles and cause them to lean lol.

The 1x1 Lego plates are actually fairly easy to separate, since all you have to do is rotate one of them, and then you have leverage. What's arguably much more difficult is separating 1x2 plates

All you have to do to separate the lego is twist them diagonal of each other and then pull them apart. You don’t need oil. People overthink sometimes.
