Fun fact. A can of coke has incredible structural integrity when pressed from above it can withstand hundreds of kilos. However if u make one of the sides give in just a tiny bit, u break that integrity and the can will fold easily even under a few kilos of force.

One morning I was up at dawn, standing on my front deck with a warm coffee in my hands, watching the sun come up. A huge Blue Heron, same as in the vid, gently soared down from the sky on course to land by my pond and hunt up frogs or fish. It then gracefully hit the powerlines at the edge of my property and after a bright blue-white flash, fell to the ground stone. fucking. dead. Wings still in flight position when I went to find it. They're butiful birds, but dumb as mud and sound like a 85 year old smoker.

That homeless guy was funny- dudes got some personality and smoothness to him. Hopefully he's able to get some housing or fix whatever struggles he's dealing with. Seemed like a nice friendly guy. Hate seeing those types of people, who are always cheerful no matter what, being homeless- that shit makes me extra sad.

The meaning of facial expressions in non-human-primates are entirely different to the human ones. Wide eyes and an open mouth can actually be a sign for aggressive behaviour - a warning sign so to say that the monkey is ready to attack. So I would say that the monkey was rather not amazed by that trick. If anything, it looks more for me that the monkey tried to attack the guy (thereby accidentally touching the glass).

I remember once i yelled at my dog to "stay" when i was afraid for his life. And he froze like a statue mid-step and was even shaking. On one hand i was glad it was effective, he didn't normally listen anymore when he had other things on his mind, but on the other hand i felt bad that he was so scared of me. Usually i never raised my voice, but at that moment i was too scared to control it. But dw, then i picked him up and told him he was a good boy and he calmed down.

@@mip4422 as a dog owner, my guess is it managed to escape a yard or a collar while near a busy road. If the stop then you can grab them before they run out onto the road.
