Greetings from PA. I totally agree when you said winnings are random. Slots are programmed for the house to win. They pay occasionally and it's the luck of the draw who is lucky enough to be sitting in front of a "hot" machine. Hope both of your luck gets better!

I'm still torn on the old 3 reels. I think I'd rather absolutely nothing happen than for the machine to go crazy , do a coin shower, light up and alert the entire casino to only see I didn't even win back what the bet was. A few penny slots do that. $8 bet, win $4 and it's doing jackpot things lol.

@Tonya Medical you'll be surprised to know those aren't the slot machines that started it "in the first place". That machine she played is prob only 10-20 yr old lol. Slot machines have a bigger better history than you could ever imagine. Something you didn't know: during prohibition they used slot machines that you could win gum for playing. That's what BAR is (something else you didn't know) on slots: Bell fruit company and BAR is a pack of gum. That's what the fruit are on many older machines too, relics to lick the flavor of gum. Knowledge is power Karen.

@@godjhaka7376 yes I kinda know about those older slot machines but not for gum at that time thats cool 😎 anyways have a great day yes I know that isn't the oldest machine I live here now for 20yrs now and I'm 46yrs old so when we go to the Fashion Show mall with my husband and I, we always see that antique store at the end of the mall on the Dillards side and saw the oldest slot machines like you said and had asked and that's cool 😎 and no of course I did not know way way back then when it all started thanks for sharing that with me have a great day and night 🌃 😊👍

Mr ruby said,"how have we not had a line hit in so long?" The reason is some games are set up to be money suckers and that's it. you might get a few small hits on it, but that's all. Oh, and you guys sound like me when I'm playing the slots. Same kind of banter and yelling at the machine.

It honestly does not matter what the age of the games you are playing if you are at a Caesars property in Las Vegas. I guarantee you are playing at the lowest possible payback percentage available. We're talking 85% payback $100 machines folks. They don't give a F.

I’ve been getting burned on these old school 3 reel slots right & left, no idea why they are still so popular… You probably have noticed how bad the payouts are, & realize you would have a better chance at making a profit on a penny denom. Thanks for the demonstration.

I have noticed over the last several years that the old slots aren’t paying off like when I first started going to Vegas in the 80’s. Not what they’ve done to them. 😢

The older slots have less variance so they are more likely to give you smaller payouts more often.

I hardly play slots. When I do, I play flaming 7s, or old school 3 reel slots. Usually double diamond. Stars and stripes takes my money..that being said..I got 450 on one today

Once you got the two single bars and the triple diamond that was it. You weren't going to win anything after. I like old school machines, but once they give you a fairly large payout it'll take a while before you get anything decent.

I don’t know why people play those old school games. I’m sure they don’t payout any better than the newer slot machines. I don’t know about anybody else, but when I’m not an addicted gambler and when I gamble I expect to lose and just want to have fun. That’s also why I don’t play table games. I’m sorry but sitting there and droning on playing playing blackjack just isn’t fun for me. I like to play the new slot games that make a bunch of noise and have bonuses and stuff. Do I lose pretty much all the time? Yeah, but like said I expect to lose and I like to have fun and those games are fun and when I’m in Vegas I like to experience other things Vegas has to offer besides gambling too.

Heres how you get your back.. Don't play slots thats a casinos literal money making machine designed to payout more for the Casino then you. & even if u do hit a jackpot they can deny you the win and state malfunction. You have better luck playing poker or barrack. Lol.
