In the 80s and 90s I worked for a major photofinishing lab. I not only learned, but taught color theory. There is no color in the world, it is only perceived by your brain ( hence color blindness). Sun light is primarily R, G and B (a little more but they don't count much in color perception). Putting equal acetate R, G, B filters in front of a white light projector you will get white. Due to an objects molecular structure, ie. a red apple, G + B will be absorbed and R will reflect back to color receptors in you eyes so your brain tells you it is red. It's a little more complicated than that, but that is the basics and how we made color photos from the film you took into the store. Loved the video! thanks.

Love that game!! I've gotten really far in it. The more you play it the easier it becomes to do trickier puzzles. But if you hand it to someone who's never played before they're totally stumped lol. Makes you feel like a genius.

In my village they had this great idea to put Amber lights all over the place. At night it was like you were in an old movie. When they changed them 10 years ago it was my first time seeing the village with colors at night. I am still trying to reconstruct my old memories with the new colors.

It's called a sodium-vapor lamp. They were pretty common as street lamps because they were very energy efficient and the specific wavelength is one that humans are most sensitive to. They actually have about the same efficiency as LED lights, but LED lights last a lot longer, so sodium-vapor lamps are pretty rare nowadays.

I love optical illusions so much. They remind me that each of us is unable to see "truth". Our senses and mind filters create what we perceive, not what's really there. That's why we have science: to overcome our illusion perceptions and find universel facts :)

On the duck one, if you stare at it without blinking, and then you stop looking at it and look around you, you can still see that image and if you look at your hand you can see it "reflect" on your hand Also if you look at some of these images for long enough you can see the images start to turn grey

I'd say the last part (7:50) was the one that got me. I tried to watch it after looking at the hypnotizing screen and watch it again but skipping the hypnotize part and i'm kinda surprised that it was not really and animation cause i watched it in pause.

One way to prove the last background is not an animation is to pause the video immediately after the wrap illusion is changed. You will notice the background is still moving even though you paused the video, which is not.
