The reason why you find God Eater so hard is because the Anti-Mash in this version of the Shaggy Mod is INSANE, you get punished like 10 notes of damage for spamming even SLIGHTLY. (You can CLEARLY see this at 16:11, when your health goes from completely full to suddenly taking a large burst of damage.) It’s the reason why it took like 4 hours for me to beat Talladega for the first time, those Triple/Quadruple Notes in the last half of the song were taking me OUT. The Gamejolt version of the Shaggy Mod actually nerfs this heavily, so I’m guessing you were playing the GameBanana version.

talking about remastered matt songs, recently there is a matt mod called voiid chronicles which has really amazing remix for all the old matt songs (also a lot of new ones). The art, visual effects and charts are insane and there are still a lot of upcoming contents such as shaggy x matt voiid wiik, voiid wiik 4, voiid tricky, agoti etc...easily my favorite matt mod and definitely worth playing.

Shaggy always felt challenging but in a fair way. Getting used to extra keys was definitely a learning curve for most, but the engine was forgiving enough to ease you into it and I found myself getting used to it a lot sooner than I thought I would. Now I love 6 key songs and can consistently beat every 7 and 9 key song without any issues!

After all this time,the shaggy mod is still a top 3 for me. I loved all the songs (especially blast and disassembler) ,the 6 and 9 key mechanics were really fresh for me at that time and they were a lot of fun. It was like learning how to play the game again and the thing with shaggy knowing boyfriend can reset time is really cool (oh and some of the cutscenes were cool too)

As for my thoughts on the mods, I'd say they both hold up fairly well. They're not overrated or underrated, just simple ideas and examples of what people can do with FNF mods. Great video.

An updated version of Matt/a remix or whatever of Matt that I think could be an interesting thing would be the Matt Voiid Sides Mod. It's the matt mod, but better in literally every way. (Its also WAY harder so gl if you try it) :)

I used to be really big into the fnf genre. Could do songs like these 30> misses, but i had to stop because i had gotten a minor case of carpal tunnel and arthritis while playing due to the over-working of my muscles. It would also hurt me somewhere above my wrist, but below my elbow. Not quite sure what that was, though.

To be fair, learning anything greater than 4 keys was never a necessity for playing FNF, and VS Shaggy stormed into the early FNF mods with innovations such as adding an excessive amount of extra keys, completely shattering everything you've ever known about the Post-Flash Rhythym game. Having the confidence to play any song more than 4 Keys is a feat in it's own right. I shred 4 keys any day of the week, but if I see anything more than that, I walk straight out the front door and hope to god I never see it again. Ngl, Shaggy songs still bop with 4 key charts. You just have to find the right one...
