Thanks for the tip. I need to get some Iron Remover for my white car (those iron deposits are so obvious and easy to see on white paint 😐). Guess I’ll apply it at my local self-service car wash, since I live in a condo with no access to a hose. I normally rinseless wash my car.

You can decontaminate using a Rinseless Wash method, but it’s very time consuming…and you need to use a lot of Rinseless Wash in sprayers to flush the panel

Hello DIY, I want to use iron remover , with only the 2 bucket methode i have without hose or extra water, what is the solution for this.

If you don’t have a hose? Just make sure to flush the iron remover when you’re done…using a pump sprayer (usually this is filled with rinseless wash). It gets a little messy but you just want to somehow flush the iron remover from the surface completely

Hey do you need to polish after clay bar/towelling the car? Or can I move straight to the ceramic waxing

Before applying our ceramic coating, we recommend a thorough wash, decon and polish. However, in certain circumstances you can skip the polishing step and just ceramic coat directly: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/j6t3e8ykravKfpc.html

That applies to any cleaning product that you use, not just iron remover.

NO! Never polish a matte / satin surface. Ever. Never clay bar either. Use chemical decon

Can Spot Remover and Tree Sap Remover also both be rinsed off or should one or both be washed off to make sure it is fully removed.

Rinsing thoroughly is all that you need to do! But these are best used with hose access as the rinsing stage is crucial

In a case where you have a vehicle that needs all three decontamination processes (spot/mineral removal, sap/tar removal, and iron removal with claying), is there an order you would recommend? I assume iron removal and claying last, so the minerals/tar/etc. will be removed before claying, but I'm not sure what your thoughts would be.

For those does not have a hose, and work wehre it cannot be used water (an home garage, a condo, and so on) and need to decontaminate with the perforated decon towel, after cleaning the car with Rinseless wash, what is the procedure? Thank you in advance.

For the times you need to decontaminate a vehicle, find a friend with a hose is the best alternative, if not rinse with DIY Detail Rinse Less Wash in a sprayer

Not if used properly, which includes out of direct sunlight and not letting it dry

This is bad advice... you should not be claying a matte or satin paint or wrap finish. It can cause changes to the finish and add gloss or damage . Chemcial decon is fine . Thie info is also all over the Internet.

With our Perforated Synthetic Décontamination Towel it’s not a concern. Since it doesn’t contain any abrasives it will decontaminate the surface without causing any damage.

@diydetailofficial I mean they are all abrasive because thats how they remove contamination.... they aren't magic. All clays / towels are abrasive if they weren't they would not work...a microfiber towel does not remove contamination... but sandpaper does... Please stop giving bad advice you should not be claying any satin finish. Any detailer will tell you this. There are chemicals (tar and iron fallout remover) for a reason.
