Broooo I haven´t seen this one before. I was going to ask you for a video about photoshop n moho characters. tsm! You have the best explained tutorials I've seen so far. You have a lot of content in one video, and that's great. Most talk about a single topic for 20 to 30 minutes. (and they do it to have a better visualization on youtube). You go straight to the point. You're the best.😃🙌

@@alirajabi9730 Oh thanks a lot bro!! I really appreciate it.!!!! :) oh, That is Luca, is a character from a pixar movie. Is a 3D character, but yes you can make it move as the video you´ve sent me. @JayBlackCult 2 жыл бұрын
@@alirajabi9730 You can download that image I´m sending and start practicing. From what I can see in the video you sent me, I think that character is divided into 5 parts. Head, Torso, Arms (both together as 1 single object), pants and legs. He applied the bones to it and generated the movement of the body. To generate the blinking, the movement of the pupils or the rotation of the head is by using actions. I will explain that in a separate video. but in the meantime you can practice the rest and get a good animation with the body. oh and you can apply the dynamic bones to the hair, and clothes to get that realistic little movement.

Hi Duyen!! Nice to meet you!!! Oh thank you very much for your comment.😃 I agree with you, I tried to use After Fx to animate and it's crazy. When you get used to the Moho or Spine bone system (they both work with the same structure). You will see that in half an hour you will be able to have your character ready to animate it. Oh, If you want to draw your characters on Moho, you can see my Stitch tutorial, there I explain how to make different face expressions, the use of smart bones and bind points (which are very helpful). And Right now Im preparing the next video that will be about Frame by Frame animation with Lip Sync. If you need any help please let me know and I ´ll do my best to help you and give you some tips. @@duyenng.5741 No problem. 😀. The video Im working on is about frame by frame mostly, but I´ll talk about how to work with audio files, and I will show a sample I made with lip sync. Then yeah I will make another video only with Lip Sync info. So yes, you can do Lip sync in moho. Actually Moho offers an automatic Lip Sync option. but it's not great. It works if you want something quick without much detail. But if you want something more pro, there is a better option using a frame by frame animation. I'm gonna make a video explaining that in detail. 😃😃

Hi Naomi, Thanks a lot for your comment!! and to answer your question, yes. If you have a character drawn in Moho or in illustrator you can import it, the bone system always works. (Dynamic bones too hehe). Soon I will upload a video about Dipper Pins. I made some adjustments to that character, and it will help me to make a new tutorial mentioning how to work with vectors, bones, and other details. 😃😃😃😃😃😃

@SportsBluff for some reason I can't see your comment here but I´m gonna leave you the answers. 1- Yes, you can create video games from moho. Actually, you can prepare the movements and then code them with Unity or some other software. Perhaps for games, I guess spine is more used. But the bones structure and animations are the same, so yeah you can use Moho. 2- Yes, you can export from affinity to Moho. You can export it as an SVG and Moho will import it as if it were an Illustrator file. You can even adjust your character from Moho. Like the thickness of lines, vectors points, colors etc. 3- Currently I´m not working with Affinity, I use Illustrator. (The process is basically the same if you are planning to animate in Moho). So, If you want to work with vectors It´d be a good idea to have the character made in Affinity / Illustrator and then adjust all the final details in Moho (Expressions, Eyelashes, Mouth etc). I'm going to prepare a video talking about that and how to work with vector characters very soon. I hope you can read this comment. Take care! N stay safe!!

Oh my god, KZfaq didn't notify me of your comment. it appears as spam and I had to approve it to see it. A thousand apologies for the delay. I hope my answer can help you after so long. To cut an image you must use the "lasso tool" (Letter "L") With it, you can select any part of the image. Then you just have to cut and paste. (Ctrl + X then Ctrl + V) Place every part on a different layer. After cutting, I drew with the brush tool all the missing parts. I drew part of the torso, part of both legs and both arms. All with the brush tool. The important thing is to have each body part on a separate layer before you send it to Moho. I hope this can help you, and let me know if you need more help. Thank you very much for your support.😃😃😃😃😃

For real, you really have an awesome idea.!!! great project to achieve an animation like that, you will have to work the characters with Frame by frame animations in most cases. Hi Lian, what´s up :D. oh, you have to select bone by bone and work with the "bone strength". Try increasing or decreasing that force to see how affects the rest of the body. It is trial and error. Hi Helen!! 😃😃Oh just add the bones and they will be attached to your character automatically. But remember, once you add the bones structure, if you wanna move it, you have to go to frame 1 in the timeline, then try to move them using the Manipulate bone tool (letter Z). If you have your character on different layers, just click the bone, for example the head bone, then the head layer and then click “Ctrl + Shift + F”. to link it. And last, remember to check the reparenting bone tool to see if everything looks ok. Let me know if it works😃😃😃😃

@JayBlackCult
@JayBlackCult 11 ай бұрын
Hi there Knowledgeistrasure. Omg, sorry for the delay, I just moved and I couldn't aswer. but I´m working in the next one that is about how to prepare a character in Photoshop, before exporting it to Moho. Your question is really good, and I don't think I have a simple answer. Moho despite the fact that it´s several years old, today it´s becoming famous. I think the Cartoon Saloon movies have helped that. And today with the new version they are getting very close to programs like toon boon. Maybe there is work to do for those who work with Frame by frame animations, but Moho is becoming like a program, "all in one". and that is what companies are looking for today. maybe it's the equivalent of Blender in 3D. (Not as good at sculpting as Zbrush, nor as technical as Maya, but it can do both.) Moho is the same. If you want simple animations, you can do it, if you want something very professional, you can do it too. And now it is slowly approaching the 2D video game industry to compete with spine. It is for this reason that there are videos on KZfaq that are a bit lost. some are very old, and others explain how it works, without explaining the entire process prior to animation. (the script, the storyboard, etc). What would be your ideal? What types of animations would you like to achieve? Tell me and maybe I can help you or guide you.

Hi there Katappa nice to meet you!!. and Yes Moho can import svg files. You just have to go to, file / import / vector, and you will see the svg, ai, or eps option. When you save the svg remember, (if you use illustrator) go to save, then more options, and choose "presentation attributes" on Css properties. or "Style attributes". Just to keep the right colors. Moho is going to import everything on the same layer. If you want to keep the layers, you have to use the Multi exporter and that´s all. I can´t help you with the inkscape because I don´t have it, but yeah, Moho can import svg files that´s for sure.
