He actually injected it into my CHEEKS! I was horrified! He said he didn't have enough filler to fill up that huge deficit! ???? I’ve had my temples treated with filler a few times. I go to a very experienced practitioner as not a lot of cosmetic doctors treat this area. It’s definitely a good area to treat for volume loss and i don’t think it can ever make you look “overdone”. The doctor that treats me is always attending conferences and courses. She recently changed her technique and uses a cannula to treat the temples. Her old method was to inject deeper and at the bone. The understanding was that you get better results with less product if you don’t go as deep. However I noticed that i got a couple or raised veins showing after she treated me with the new technique. So i now get her to fill deeper the way she used to and I’m very happy with the results. I really recommend getting this area treated. I avoided it for a few years as i felt it was an expensive area to treat with little visible results however after getting it done you see how it lifts the face, improves the eye area as well as eyelid and temple. It also harmonises the face again and takes away that skeletal look you can get from aging.

Even with my asymetrical face I would get so many compliments that you're so pretty! And I would be approached by guys a lot and yes I'm older now but I don't think that's what it is. It's bc I've gotten the peanut face imo it's not attractive, though just yesterday a lady told me you're very pretty so I'm pretty sure it's worse in my mind . Unfortunately I'm terrified of the possible complications so I've been chewing gum instead to build facial muscle. Can you please do an ai before and after of Halle Berry to show what her face would look like with temple filler? Hi Emily. I have severe volume loss in the temples. I am trying to decide between HA filler and Sculptra (or Lanluma). Some practitioners recommend one over the other for various reasons. I suffer from chronic barometric pressure headaches, which includes a lot of pain in the temple area. I am also a regular dry sauna user (3 x per week+) and side sleeper. Under these circumstances, going by the information you have provided in your videos, I would assume I would be a candidate more suited to sculptra in the temples rather than filler? Thank you for being so generous and open about your knowledge!! - now in 2024, many injectors would no longer let Sculptra sits. As obviously the manufacturer has changed their instructions. Do you still think we should let I sit? I have had injector who insisted on two days, some insisted ten minutes would be enough. - I am prone to nodules and had to have them dissolved a few times :/ my injector diluted it to 9cc including the anaesthesia liquid. You reckon that’s enough? - for the temples- I had asked her to inject into the deeper plane close to the bone but she said that’s dangerous and not as long lasting so she in the end used a cannula to do the less deep version. But I also had another doctor who tried the needle/ deeper way. Do they each have their merit or is one definitely better than the other, I wonder 💭 Thank you ❤
@NaturalInjector
@NaturalInjector 4 ай бұрын
I go down to the periosteum because I feel safer but I’m not opposed to learning a different method. It could be that you get better results if you are less deep since there are more fibroblasts in the subcutaneous plane. There aren’t any evidence based studies that show that one gives better results than the other because it’s not approved for use in the temples at the moment.

The downside of Sculptra, especially with temples, is that it takes months and several treatments to see results. After the first treatment and spending thousands, you’re back to hollow temples the next day. I naturally have a peanut shape upper face (dad’s genes) regardless of age/collagen. It’s hard to wait for the results of Sculptra.
@NaturalInjector
@NaturalInjector 4 ай бұрын
Thanks for sharing your story. It can be hard to wait on results from Sculptra, especially in the beginning. However, once you build up a nice reserve of collagen you don’t go back to baseline like you did before. When I used to use filler, it was nice to have the instant result, but everyday after, every time I worked out I thought, oh no am I exercising my filler away. Sculptra is nice because it gives you something to look forward to with very long lasting results because it’s your own collagen. I think it’s nice to look forward to something as opposed to getting a treatment and thinking I look amazing today but everyday thereafter my results will eventually diminish and I’m not doing anything to make my own collagen which can give long lasting results.

It depends on a lot of things. It helps give the lateral brow support. You can see with the gentleman that it helped lift his a little. How would you combine Sculptra with regular use of microcurrent devices like Foreo Bear? I've read that after getting filler, to stop microcurrent for ten days because it can move the filler. But since Sculptra technically isn't filler how would it be affected?
@NaturalInjector
@NaturalInjector 7 ай бұрын
I’m not familiar with that particular device or any other home microcurrent device but you are free to use devices with Scultpra as the heat from the device would only help spread the microparticles. I had my temples treated with filler 2 moths ago and I was very happy with the results as it also gave me a brow lift. Than, I bought silicon anti-wrinkel patches on Amazon similar to frownies but silicone and applied them over night. Due to the shape of the patches they overlapped from my forehead onto my temples which I didn't concern me as they claim to smooth out wrinkles that is all. To my horror when I woke up all of my temple filler was gone. Not migrated just gone! I don't understand how is that possible??? can you please share your thoughts on this? When I got them filled my injector thought this filler would last me for at least a year. I also though if these dissolve filler completely over night maybe they would work great on filler migration on the lips etc. I am not putting them under my eyes as I had my tearthru treated. Hi, I've been getting Sculptra for approximately 3 years. I went to get my annual maintenance of 2 vials and had the usual temple and prearicular areas done. I'm 3 months post maintenance and around the 8 week stage I noticed my right eyelid getting heavier and hooded and my temple area looks bumpy and more hollow. There is no problem on the left side. I'm actually going to my injector tomorrow but would love to know if you've come across anything like this? I'm a bit freaked out and was wondering if this happens with massaging or the new introduction of Sculptra being mixed on arrival for the appointment. She used to mix it up the day prior but said Sculptra have said it's now safe to administer straight after reconstitution.
@NaturalInjector
@NaturalInjector 6 ай бұрын
Hi Jane. I have not heard of this issue as far as heavy eyelids. You can of course get bumps or nodules from Sculptra. Even though the company says you can reconstitute a vial on the same day I choose to still continue reconstituting at least 3 days before treatment and the reason is because I have not had an issue with nodules (if it ain’t broke don’t fix it). Did you get Botox or other neuromodulators done? That could possibly cause a heavy lid. Glad you’re following up with your provider. Feel free to keep us posted.

@@bobbieSng Interesting. With Sculptra there is less pressure than filler because it’s a liquid so after 3-5 days all the pressure from volume should have been completely resolved as the water gets reabsorbed. Do you know how much volume (mL/cc) was injected into each side? Also, I have noticed issues with my skin after getting injectables and that all relates to cleaning the skin thoroughly before treating with alcohol and hibiclens which can really irritate the skin. For instance, I had my neck done recently with Sculptra and it was so itchy at times and I think it’s from the alcohol and hibiclens that irritated my skin.
