Just a little advice, never ever force a woman to say why she keeps mute. Do not bother with a woman who doesn't like to reveal her feelings. Let her be. Those are warning signs of someone with emotional issues. If you don't, you will soon find out the hard way... If she pulls back, do the same. If she’s distanced herself then let. Give her space but if it goes on too long, walk. But, never be rude or lose your temper. Always do it in a civil manner. Nothing pisses her off more than a civil breakup, i.e, why didn’t you fight for her. Believe me, she’ll come crawling back and with so much more respect than before.

Communication is such an important part of a relationship that if a girl is keeping shut when there is obviously a problem (whether it be about you or not) this is a red flag. Remember, the silent treatment is a manipulation tactic, do not tolerate it. I’d say give her the space she needs until she reaches out to you ready to talk like adults. I'm literarily tired myself. Why must it always be the guys that should put in more efforts?. The male gender has a lot of wars to fight already,why does it have to be more complicated?. I've been in this and it's not really a pleasant journey cos it messes one's emotions up especially for a softhearted guy like me. Ladies should learn to speak up, speak for goodness sake!. I’m dealing with someone who do mindgames as well and I have the choice between 3. But with her is the connection strongest and I understand why she do this, because she is insecure and don’t want to be hurt. It’s I kind of childish, but if you understand why peoples do what they do it’s much easier to deal with. I enjoy the time with her a lot but must figure out for me if I want that. It's amazing to me that you got all the way to step 8 and then said 'have some patience'. If you've made it through 7 steps, patience has literally gotten you nowhere. In my view, and I've been married 28 years, if your partner won't open up about the problem and is also still being distant, you don't need anymore patience. You need courage, the courage to leave. A well meaning woman with love for you won't string you out a long time with no answers and no change in behavior. If you tolerate this for long, you will only set the precedent for continued bad behavior from her. Women are different, we all know that. But there is no excuse for lack of effort to make things right. We may not agree on what it takes to make things right. But we must agree to always try. Anything less than that is a betrayal by a selfish woman. 💯

This actually worked for me. I made a stupid choice by overstepping a boundary I didn't know about but she asked me for time and she needed space. I told her she was valid in her feelings and that I would respect her space. I made it a point to not contact her for over a week and although I was in my thoughts on the situation, I remained hesitant no matter how much i wanted to message her or call. Up until 4 days ago, she messages me and asked me to join her at Disneyland and I was kind of shocked.. She opened up about her stress at work and with family and how she respected how patient I was with her. She messages me every day again, she calls me, she includes me in her life, it was like that time never happened. She really liked that I didn't overstep even more by calling or reaching out for any contact for that matter. Yesterday, we got together and had an incredible time at Disney and she told me she wants me to be around all the time again how sorry she was for not opening up sooner. Now we're beginning to communicate our boundaries and thats the greatest feeling in the world. Moral of this is, space is IMPORTANT. No matter what situation, I definitely added onto her stress. I've learned a lot just from my situation. Thank you, Jessica!

What people don't realize is for a relationship to work, there has to be some level of honestly and openness. If there is something that's bothering you and you can't share with me, then you obviously don't need me. I have a woman in my life that loves me. We communicate very well. However, she goes in and out of my life. She has been in my life for 23 years. However, she also likes women. But, she always comes to me saying she does not care about them. She recently told me I'm the person she wants to be with. Then, she turns her check to me twice in 2 days, saying she does not kiss anyone on the lips. We even recently talked about having children. We have talked about that before. Now she is saying she won't be my girlfriend. Even though we have been a thing forever. She has said I am hers forever and then recants later. It is very confusing, even for me, a person who teaches people how to be counselors.

1. It’s ok to ask questions but don’t take her answer “I’m ok” for sincere. 2. Acknowledge the situation. Let her know. 3. Give her space (1 to 3 days). 4. See if the distance is intentional 5. Your suggestions are very sound. According to Suggestion 6 that suggests "do not share your problems with your mate with third parties," it was one of the marital rules which say, "do not discuss your marital problems with third parties, except to a minister or a marriage counselor." Sharing relationship problems with another person about that the partner is like burning a bridge that cannot be crossed over anymore.

Thanks Jessica. This is the first time I'm seeing you making judgement from many women paradigms. Truth is that, women do these things too often and it takes a whole lot of stress trying to figure out things. I've done that before, and each time I show care during these times, it grow worse. I'm now focus on my goal and somehow, it's working perfectly well. Women are complicated, I've seen that men don't need to "understand" them. We just have to treat them well and focus on our lives.

When a woman distances you after showing interest for a while, she is allowing another man to come in because you were acting less masculine. Any other reason is rare. Only way for her to come back is let her contact you. If she does not contact after 12 months, figure out if you were dishonest to her about your intentions or actions before reaching out to her. Your words will not help that much, your actions will speak loud for her to come back.
