You aren't really chasing your teammate if you've been lapped. The tactics completely change once that happens. Remember the recent video when Jeff's teammate and 3 others lapped the field, and how that played out.

The biggest mistake I could see the mane man making is that for most of the video he is well off the wheel so is working harder than he needs to. Some of this could be a confidence thing after the spill.
