That Lock N Lube coupling works better with the in-line swivel that Lock N Lube sell

The metal sleeve adds support for the plastic grease tube and prevents it from being knocked out of the grease gun head.

One of the most important things to do with an tractor, excavator, and implements....keep it greased! I've got a couple of grease guns but I'll check out the Lube Shuttle because I'm not in love with either of mine....I think one is a Lincoln. I did buy the Dewalt 20V powered grease gun and the Lock and Lube coupling a year ago, but haven't taken the time to put it together and use it!!

Yup, love the lube shuttle, had mine for a year or two now, has worked flawlessly, very nice system, and no plunger!!

I do like the Lube shuttle, it’s easy and convenient.. if I had any gripe about it it would be that you have to stick with their specific greases and not your own brand.. (least I think?) and second would be the short stroke of the handle.. would make greasing spindles take a bit when your doing 20+ pumps per spindle. That being said I just recently picked up a Milwaukee m12 cordless grease gun. We have one at work that Iv been using for 2.5 years now and it’s never let me down and never gets me messy, tho I do plan on adding a lock-N-Lube to the end of the hose so thanks for the link!

What an OUTSTANDING FORD PICK UP 😇😇👌👌👍👍 Sir that is adulte rated (R) under view of your tractor mon ami 🤣🤣🥴🥴👍👍 Yes grease is very importante in deed and looks like you grease gun is OUTSTANDING 👍😇👌 but I have 4 of them and all in Great condition and 4 various types of grease ( tin ( winter ), tick (Summer ), synthetic ( Very warm ), boat grease ( wet ) Cheers

It’s seem like me a good product for moderate greasing needs. But if you have a lot of equipment hungry for large amounts of grease a manual grease gun is not something I’d fool around with. I’d get either a Dewalt 20v electric grease gun or the Milwaukee one pair with the lock and lube. Way faster and more efficient. Also I’m a fan of Lucas Red N Tacky and buy it by the case. Which it’s a standard grease style tube. I don’t like proprietary systems. Just my 2 cents.

I got something that looks like it from CTC. Deluxe pistol grip grease gun. You do not need the Canadian PAL to buy it, yet! Does about the same thing. I have heard that people were having issues with the Lock and Lube attachment though. I hate getting grease on myself, but that is the cost of doing the greasing. Just thought that I would add my two cents worth. Oh wait, we do not have pennies anymore. From: Petawawa, Ontario.

The thing I hate most is how hard it is to remove the grease gun from the zern fitting. After watching your video I ordered the LockNLube. Can't wait to try it.

I like the concept of no mess. We already have a Lock N Lube and works well. The question on the Lube Shuttle is, in reality how much the statement of no mess turns out to be true? When the temperature goes up, does the now warm grease stay in the tube, no leakage? Second issue to me is grease availability. You have to use their tubes or no greasing. Proprietary tube...higher cost? Limited grease type options? We have been using the Lucas Red N Tacky for years and has done better compared to other grease brands used. When something is working well, I tend to not switch unless there is a GOOD reason to do so, and a tad less mess doesn't rank in the good reason importance (yet at least). So cost and how comparable are their greases? I believe they have their own proprietary grease formulations also. How long has Lube Shuttle been around? Has their grease system and greases proved good over extended time?

Yes, the grease stays in the tube without any leakage. Propretary tube yes, however I've heard of guys refilling and reusing the tube 3 or 4 times before it wears out. I also think for the average guy who isn't greasing on a daily basis the convenience is worth the extra cost. Research the company to find out more. Keep on tractoring!

I know you have a place in northern Minnesota and I know, for a fact your opening scene must be a skeeter haven, good thing you have a cab. I have a hate, hate relationship with grease guns, I can never seem to get the things primed. As per your recommendations, I’ll give this setup a shot, I hope it primes easy. You should probably invest in a case of OFF for those northern Minnesota twilights!

I'd be interested in knowing how the Lube Shuttle compares the LocknLubes Easy Prime gun, which is very similar - no mess. And with LnL's version, you can use any standard grease cartridge along with a follower cap (you get 10 with the gun), which are reusable. Only downside is it's 2x price of Lube Shuttle, but I'd be willing to pay that to use the grease of my choice. I certainly agree the LnL grease coupler is certainly one of the best and use them on my old grease guns. Now that I'm looking for newer grease guns, I'm quite interested in the 2 aforementioned ones. Any comments, opinions, etc. very appreciated. Thanks for the video!

Will the Lock And Lube attach to the Lube Shuttle? I think the Lube Shuttle is metric and the Lock And Lube is NOT metric?

The Lube Shuttle makes GREAZING so easy. Bought one after seeing it on TTWT. Here's a question though, what do you use to clean your grease fittings? I've found that when they are super dirty the Lock 'n' Lube doesn't attach easily. I usually have to try to clean out dirt and old grease from around the fitting first. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Me too. Easy use and no mess ! FYI, I wipe mine with Tub-O-Towels if dirty, paper towel when done "greazing"

I just wipe them off with a paper towel. There probably a better way but that’s all I do. Keep on tractoring!

Like my locknlube with extended nozzle. How does lube shuttle work when it uses the vacuum to suck in grease when it's cold?

Seems to work fine for me, just need to pull the handle a little harder. However there isn’t a whole lot of greasing I need to do in the winter. Keep on tractoring!

OK you've convinced me. As you mention in your video, Good Works Tractor has pushed this product, Tractor Time with Time has favored this product, as well as, Tractor Mike. All of these tractor guys seem to like the Lube Shuttle system. After watching your video, I'm finally convinced. I'm sold. I do have one question. Do you use the GP 200 EP grease on everything - tractor and attachments?

Amazon don't list the tubes of grease by themselves. Do you have to buy everything to get the grease?? I like the lock and lube, have one on my Ridgid 18 volt grease gun. I use Lucas Red and Tacky grease, have been for many years. The Ridgid Grease Gun was $179, and I can use any cartridge grease. and don't wear my hand out, but you have to be wary of the trigger finger because the trigger is light. Keep the finger off the trigger till ready to shoot, just like at the range.

I don't know how it works for you, but where we buy our grease we can choose if we want "regular" or Lube-Shuttle. It's only the number that is different, and a little higher price per cartridge. But in my opinion it's worth it, I have had no problems yet with oil leaking out and I got rid of the rod in the end of the tool. With a new cartridge the length of the whole thing (old school) is some times frustrating, in our boats for example...

I had the same question. Lube shuttle is an m10 fitting, but locknlube is 1/8". Locknlube offer a couple of different solutions to make their grease coupler work with the lube shuttle. They have everything you need directly on their website.
