Love your videos, especially these series, but invest some time into making an ending for each video. It always ends abruptly and can leave a bad taste, or look lazy. Otherwise great content

corrupting mist used to say "Corrupt all minions", they changed it to curse with Darkmoon Faire to not be confused with the corrupt keyword

I reeeeally liked this guest. Like you said, she offered a different perspective as a dev/designer and it was so cool to see her figure out cards using primarily context and design clues rather than sheer gameplay experience (not that other guests didnt use design clues, but this one did it the most). The first voice line blew me away. I didn't even consider the "see" being a play on words. Very cool!

this was the best episode so far! you're right, the developer perspective gives really interesting reasoning when it comes to answering the questions, like identifying the pun in the demon hunter sound effect and thinking about whether there'd be an exclamation mark or not. i don't know if you do repeat guests, but i'd watch another with her in a heartbeat

19:14 this card originally said "Corrupt every minion" but when Darkmoon Faire came out, they couldn't have a card that says "Corrupt" because then players could assume it gives +4 Health to all the Fairground Fools on the board. So they changed it to "Curse all minions" at that time.

okay okay this episode makes me really happy for three reasons: - I've been a huge fan of Cora since she first started doing comms, so all Cora content is good content - *Finally* someone referenced the achievements! I'm an achievement hunter and so many of the cards shown have achievements or are great for earning them! - I actually knew the Dragonkin Sorcerer and I have no idea how, wtf. This is great, absolutely loving seeing these come out

This was absolutely fantastic, Rarran. The presentation has definitely improved since the first episode! Adding the art snippets and sound bits as a little bonus category is a great change. There are so many iconic voice lines from cards in older sets that just bring me joy to hear. Looking forward to the future of this series, my dude. I think it would be really fun to see some returning guests if any are interested (please do another one of these, Cora, this was so fun) going forward as well. This series brings Hearthstone personalities and the game together in such a wholesome way. This is truly evergreen content, my guy. Impressive work.

Honestly looking at the end of this video , making one with two cooperating contestants from the beginning would be a good way to mix things up . Make them correct and confuse each other and maybe up the difficulty a little bit just to be sure .

My logic for why they used to bold 'you' for those minions is because during that time, it wasn't common to cast spells on your own minions, only Paladin and I think some Priest had cards like that, so they wanted you to be extra sure the effect was due to *you* doing it to your own minion. That's, for example, why I think injured blademaster is the only minion that damages itself that is worded differently: it says "...to HIMSELF" in all caps, because back then I think that was the only card that did that, so they wanted you to be extremely clear what the effect was. With things going into the future and players being more familiar with how cards worked and common mechanics, the emphasis on words like that was dropped. That's my idea for why those cards were written and emphasized that way.

Amazing video with an incredible quest! Loved it, very interesting to hear a Devs thought process, how Cora looked at the little details and if they looked real. I'm disappointed you didn't ask her if Discover was added in League or Whispers. In regards to Corrupting Mists and the demon that corrupt a card in your opponent's hand: Those were retroactively changed to say Curse minions or Curse a card in the expansion that added CORRUPT as a keyword.
