It is sad that due to colonisation the term Hindu was implemented, rather the real Sanatana Dharma. Bharat (India) had a long history of science, philisophy, math, metalurgy and medicine to name a few. This is because we never followed a book, yes we have scriptures that were written about people that faced struggles in their lives and we rever how they overcame came. Thes are then considered deities. We never had a religion per say, we lived a quest of knowledge. To us, what you call God, is the energy of the Universe, and the word you call soul is that same energy within every living thing. We had no word for God. We are always seaking. The idols we have and revere, are individually different aspects of life that we can focus our mind to our requirements. So each individual household in India has different customs or practices. We are not tied by ideoligy, or a book, we can add our ideas or take away ideas, we do not need to go to a temple, we are free of forcing people to convert, because to us every human, animal and plant is Hindu. so there is nothing to convert too. Living life, peacefully, harmoniously and in fullfilling manner is the practice of Sanatana Dharma. Even when we die we burn the boy in the open the release the energy back to the universe. That is reincarnation. The Caste (Portuguese word), is another indoctinisation to re-educate Indians into believing we were heathens and need to be saced. Our nation was plurialistic and Verna (Caste) was never a set heriditarial process, it just calsified the work you did. The problem is we have been so indoctrinated after colonialism we forgot a lot of our ways and started calling this a religion, as this was catagorised as such by the British. We see humanity as one, and beleive that everyone has their own path, but the destination is the same. We have not found God, we are seekers.

Vedic tradition never demanded that their students should blindly believe or "swallow" anything -- “ IF YOU DON’T LIKE IT , LUMP IT “ TYPE DOGMA. THEY ARE ASKED TO APPLY THEIR CONSCIENCE . No guru wants his students to believe; he wanted his students to understand and agree . A teacher wants students to understand, to know, unlike a SINGLE HOLY BOOK DOGMA preacher who wants listeners to believe. Moksha in Vedic tradition is given through the grace of god alone and only for those who deserve it according to Good karma . God never forgive Sin. After death this deserving soul is liberated from the endless cycle of births and rebirths. The body of the “realized man” or Jivan Mukt continues to exist until his karmas and prarabdhas ( greater responsibility ) has worked itself out, and then his mortal coil falls away on his own free will , and he attains Moksha. Such people have sterling virtues like conscience, lack of ego, gratitude , lack of desires- selfishness- greed- jealousy- anger- and fear, unlimited compassion, respect for universal laws, raised consciousness and humility ( which yours truly does NOT have though I hold a rare Moksha Jatakam ). In Sanatan Dharma it is your own conscience, (which arose out of awakened consciousness ) which connects you to the greater metaphysical unity. These 10 qualities are considered as main characteristics of the Dharma." In sanatan dharma spirituality and science were into one in today's world where there is rationality and science there is no need of religion at all and the bogus theory of karma and reincarnation were all set up by the spiritual leaders to tie the human mind to explore it's limiteless potential and not see the reality as it is cause the reality is often disturbing distressing and negatively viewed and so we need positivity and a hope that someone oversease our action the karma bound theory was out I don't consider myself atheist but I don't believe in karma or reincarnation

The one thing I always like about Sadhguru is that his face slapping way of delivering the truth to those peoples whoever asking the questions without knowing the significance of that question. The only concern of a true guru is not make comfortable the student, he must be able to hit the student or the seeker to realize something from his teaching, that quality is always their with Sadhguru. Many people think Sadhguru is all lovey dovey and he is all adorable…. you definitely do not know him…. before all these social media, before , pre dhyanalinga set up , he was like a sharp razor , unfazzed and his programs were so energetic that it would go pver most people’s systems , all kinds of systems ,,….many were left so dizzy after the program…..(not in a bdpad way)….but his energetic use and transmissions were super strong that time….cos most of the programs conducted during those times were of very close circles and really really focussed dedicated ones…..After Dhyanalinga consecration, he went on going all over the world , to consecrate spaces, and make a conscious planet….intellectually understanding him will of course make one become much more clarified….Clarity will come….But Sadhguru is definitely not about intellectual understanding…you will be surprised if you think he will be what you…. Sadhguru himself even clarified about all this in one of his videos on you tube that , no one knows him , who he really is…..and that is true….. the physical form that we see of him is not who he is ….. you have to drop all your beliefs, assumptions, conclusions, ideas, prejudices, expectations…….and all his programs are designed in such a way, in a conscious way , to make one drop all these so that one becomes really really open….. until on is so open that you sit in front of him like a simple child , just being with him, one cannot be in tune with him completely…. he is trying to do that , for most of us…,one will understand more and more as your seeking goes deeper and deeper… He will shock you….He will behave and act in a way, you never expected and give you a shocking answer…He is not at all about making people’s beliefs and systems , caressed, solaced , saying , yes ,,,yes all the time,…..he is full of compassion,,and he is grace, when he needs it , he will crush one’s rigid systems if he need to….He wants people to wake up…Not ten years after ….not tomorrow. but now.

I am Javanese from Indonesia. My ancestors also taught the same thing, namely to be able to factify all the information I received. Facting means making it my own experience. Soul, atman, spirit, etc. are just information that means nothing unless I have verified it as my own experience, not just theory or information. Am I able to confirm that I have met my soul, my atman, or my spirit, etc.??? So my ancestors have also taught me methods so that I can prove these things through my own life experiences.

I don't want to close my eyes and see who I am. I don't want to give up my perception, my ego. If I do that I will be lost and leave what I am doing right now. I feel this thing is dark. As an Indian, I see many Saints, sages, aghoris,etc., in the find of something bigger than this materialistic world. But I still want to be in this side of the world. 🥺

You can either join that sort of life or just choose to be more indulgent in matter of the earth and man. But having a clarity about the self and the nature is good even on the materialistic plane.

Vedic tradition never demanded that their students should blindly believe or "swallow" anything -- “ IF YOU DON’T LIKE IT , LUMP IT “ TYPE DOGMA. THEY ARE ASKED TO APPLY THEIR CONSCIENCE . No guru wants his students to believe; he wanted his students to understand and agree .
