How many 1968 SUID-AFRIKA 5 Cents Charles Swart, Afrikaans Legend PROOF were minted?

Quite a lot actually. From my source (Herns), a total of 5,525,000 million were minted of which 25,000 were proof. In top UNC condition, the 5c would be worth say R20, the proof around R50.

Enjoy the content you are putting out there, nice info on SA coins. I have a 1977 and a 1988 20c coin that has been struck of centre, I have not been able to find any info on this. Do you have any info on them?

Hi there. There is definitely a market for these, but I am no expert on them. Some errors are more common than others, but always tend to increase the value.
