I never understood why that sentence makes any sense as a response despite hearing it on repeat.

I think it’s funny that they used to have the Welches golf tournament at Randolph golf complex in Tucson. The greens are hard as a rock and they’re so tiny if you missed the green by even a foot or even if you hit right by the pin you’re gonna bounce over into the rough but when you’re off the Green by just foot, you can’t hit a regular chip. You have to hit a huge flop shot full swing from 1 foot off the green To keep the ball from rolling to the other side of the green the greens are so tiny. So basically, our only chance of saving par is to Jar your flop shot, get it Welches jelly and jar required. I would’ve loved to see the pro struggle on that course
