I guess you haven't seen many dogs with kids then.. Every dog can be good with kids. But there are definitely tons of breeds that are suited better for families with kids

My father told me that she knew the kitchen was not a safe place so she would nudge me over to the wall and lean on me! Eventually, when I failed to show up, my mom knew she had to find the family Husky and of course, she had me scootched up against the wall!

It's a SHE...Lilly. :) More proof that dogs are only as dangerous as the owner makes them (e.g. lack of training/proper socialization). It's always the owner's fault if the dog is unstable. Usually. In my lifetime 99% of the Doberman's I've met weren't aggressive. When they act out it could also be the owner projecting their own insecurities onto the dog. Their nervousness...so the dog thinks they need to protect. Possibly. Socialized from the start properly no dog should be unstable or dangerous. My Pug at 9 weeks 7-lbs was best friends with a 2 year old female PitBull about 70-80-lbs. They could play off leash. No worries. The Pit knew my dog was a puppy....didn't play as rough as she might with larger dogs. . 7 years ago...should do a follow up video. If Lilly is still around.

I have been bitten by a labrador. My uncle had a pincher named satan who loved kids. Never had an issue and he saved my uncle from an intruder. My friends have pits and boxers, not one issue. Black labs my best friends family has had were nothing but trouble and caused problems. Their springer was a fantastic dog. Dont be so quick to judge a whole breed on media fear-mongering. I have a 93lb dog who is nothing but a cuddle bug and he mouths when we play. Every dog Ive had mouths, its how they play. Not one has ever bit or attacked anyone, my dog even loves my nephew and is one of the best ive had. Every dog is capable of biting, check out Cear's worst bite for a lab that sends him to the hospitial with a bite wound. You and Toinette Walker need to be educated, you know nothing of dog behavior outside what your TV tells you.

Dogs are very maternal and paternal, weirdly enough. I guess they see all babies as being like their own. I think you'd be hard pressed to find a dog attack a baby unless it's been badly trained

Most healthy baby's are that flexible, as you get older you gain more muscle so it is much harder to do

I agree. I was raised around 2 pitbulls and those are supposedly alot more dangerous than dobermen. Neither me or my brother wete ever bit, attacked, scrached, ect. ALL DOGS ARE GREAT IF YOU TRAIN THEM PROPERLY.

how come people dock and crop their Doberman dogs? Is it better for them? Or just purely for cosmetic reasons? I've always wondered.

+Marli As far as i know no medical reason for docking their tails other then with the body style of the dog the tails grow and look very odd. Same goes for other breeds. Purely to improve the look of the dog. However it may not be the only reason. one for sure but not the single reason per say
