Y'all can afford to feed 5 people on ONE EMT salary?? Meanwhile where I live my boyfriend and I have well-paid jobs in science and finance and we could not even afford 1 child if we want to keep the exact lifestyle that we're used to! So we have pets 😂

We only buy organic food, we need our vacations twice a year, short trips in between, concerts and music festivals, theatre and eating out at good restaurants at least once or twice a week, I'm also getting my hair done at the salon a few times a month, my nails every other week, we have gym memberships and yoga classes too. Then a lot of expensive private doctors' appointments because of my Crohn's. Then we have vet and spa bills for our pets. I could never live without any of this.

@@91clarie We buy organic food, we have a gym membership, I cut my own hair and dye it once in a while, I have stuff to do my own nails but it’s rare. We do more things at home like non fires during winter, swimming during summer, we don’t take trips but we do take our kids places like the zoo, scicon, different places. We don’t have any medical expenses. But a lot of things are more wants than needs. We’re happy and it doesn’t take much. But everyone is different and I pray that you get your needs, wants and a family! Especially if you’re working you’re butt of for it, you deserve it all girl!! Have you thought of moving somewhere that is a bit cheaper in the cost of living?

He is in residency rn and she has been a nurse for a couple of years. She actually wanted to be a doctor too and she reached out to him and asked is she should go to med school after nursing school and he advised her to just continue her nursing career. Later on they got together.

You always need one close friend in med school who can actually explain how fucked the system is to you because it makes no sense from the outside.

You do know doctors have to plan each and every step on how to manage the patient. Every patient is a different case. Not everything happens in front of the patient. You don’t know a thing that’s happening before the doctor visited you. How much preparation it took before deciding on the plan that should be done to you. They studied for how many years just to learn that.
