Brilliant lecture on the suspension of disbelief. Personally, I can easily understand and feel what people have experienced and been exposed to. Where my suspension of disbelief breaks is the reenacting of wars from different times. It's almost only 50 to 70-year-old grey-bearded men with fat bellies, when it should be 15 to 20-year-old boys and pure young men.
