How can that woman possibly blame the benefits system , that house is a pig sty , the garden and house are full of rubbish AND she is pregnant with another child ??? no doubt the new partner is not working either , and the landlord , who has worked hard to get the money to buy the house in the first place is faced with the bill for eviction , no rent paid and a bill for thousands if not tens of thousands to restore the house to rentable condition , insane

Parents were landlords. Lots of people view us as evil people. The laws favor the tenants. With dealing with a lot of B.S. and stress of being a landlord. I’ve sold the properties, paid off the debts and now make better ROI with basic investments. It took us over a year to kick out a methhead. Some tenants were good, some show their true colors later on.

Sorry..but I believe in forced sterilization. OR......when you apply for benefits and say you have 3 children....that amount is THEN FROZEN. If you screw-up and have another child...you get LESS money. Also, with my plan, birth prevention would be free (not abortion...birth prevention)

The shopkeeper should have been charged. He might sell off the stock and disappear to hide with fellow relatives and friends.. Not paying your bills is theft that is unfair to the landlords and suppliers, of course.

The lady being evicted with her partner and has kids can't pay what she owes but can wear a thick gold chain that would cost quite a bit. Sell that and pay the guy what you owe. Plus clean your mess as well. Disgusting way to live especially with kids. Rubbish thrown out back and mould everywhere.

Wearing real gold (if you can call ‘9 carat gold’ real gold) chains, rings, earrings, bracelets, etc. has always been very, very popular for the British working (or in her case, not working) class. From when I was a kid in the 70’s up until I left England in the 90’s, a majority of women and many men wore multiple chains, earrings, rings, etc. They were all real then. I don’t think it’s changed that much.

That is an awesome series! I loved the two older gentlemen who worked together, I think Paul Bowhill is one, and he's so sweet. They were so calm, but persistent. I even saw Paul pay for a night in a motel for a woman with young children, or he'll offer to put the kettle on so they can sit down and work out a payment plan. He's a gem.

Wow I live in Canada 🇨🇦 and this is eye opening to me in the sense that the amount of verbal abuse that these court appointed people take is unbelievable!!!!!!!!…. Not to mention the fact that they could be stabbed or in some cases shot !!!!!!!….i hope that they get paid well for this kind of job!!!!!…..I feel for the individuals that are in a bad way but at the end of the day it is what it is!!!!!!!…. This is the only way to work these things out ; Calmly and politely... People in Britain know that they won't get shot during eviction, so stay relatively calm. Fortunately I live in a country where this rarely happeneds. Love from Norway 👩‍🦳🇸🇯

When they say 14 days to pay they mean that, they have you scheduled for cut off first thing in the AM on the morning of the 15th day. I use to refer tenants to the LIHEP agency for emergency assistance to get them back on their feet.

There is something i do not understand, people who are cash strapped also keep pets, often dogs which cost a lot to keep. Yet they cannot pay rent. They drive good cars but they claim they also cannot pay rent.

I'm American, but it's unfathomable to me that so many young people in the UK refuse to work. I know that many may be disabled. Why do 99% of all these tenants live on benefits? I joined the US Army at 16, retired as a deputy Sherriff, and I currently work at a State Prison now. I get a VA pension, a good MD pension from The Sherriffs Department, & I am now working on my PA state pension. Law enforcement pensions in the USA are between 10 & 20 years because of the high stress work. You are a priority for hire if you are a US military veteran.

I don't know why these people dont make regular frequent payments. No matter how large or small. Something is better than nothing. Although I do find it rather sad that the guy enjoys his job. I find it rather depressing. As for the travellers they just can't put their caravans anywhere they wish and not pay for the use of the land. Not to mention the clean up thats involved after they leave the land.

If you owe money and can't pay then don't ignore it, it's not going to go away. Contact who you need to and pay what you can but be prepared to have your belongings taken. Its a harsh situation but its reality.

their high court enforcers are not equipped with tasers and firearms to protect them in the event of an out-of-control situation because their work is high risk unlike in the USA all enforcers, whether police or others, have firearms and tasers to do this kind of dangerous work.
