(Dan) Hey there folks. Welcome to DocTalk. Thanks for joining me today. We're going to have a fun show. We're going to talk about some cattle handling things. We're going to talk about how we move cattle through processing facilities. We'll talk about the bud box. We'll talk about tubs. We'll talk about a lot of different things associated with moving those cattle from the alley to the chute. Stay tuned after these messages.

A budbox should be cheaper than a squeeze tub. Going to try the bud.

You guys definitely aren’t dairy men. I’m a fifth generation dairy farmer and I watched this video out of curiosity. This caused me think less of the beef business because of the bud box being some kind of new invention. All the old school tie stall guys will understand this comment.

Handling cattle is a day in day out part of life in the dairy business. I have way more money into each and every one of my dairy cattle than a single beef cow. And cannot damage or mark them up without serious economic consequences. So only top notch cattle handler are aloud to so much as come close to my cows when we are moving them around. So the beef cattle movement video seem primitive to me. Beef guys seem cow ignorant compared to my understanding.

Kyle Harkness I do have a sizable beef operation and there are many who are not very good stockmen but I think they exists in the dairy industry also.

@@kyleharkness8179 agreed. As a former dairyman. Beef guys have no clue on how to move cattle around. Dairy guys can look at the cow and tell what the cows thinking. Were not alloud to use hot shots or let them fall. Its just being a good herdsman. I've walked my share of the neighbors beef cows
