hello doctor v i think u should examine my skin , it is very very exotic , like no one in this world has a skin like me , it gets irritated with anything I put , currently I am just washing my face with just water and leaving it alone , and its fine, and when I use skin care products it gets irritated , my skin is a solid subject that should be experimented by skin care experts like u .........

I could use a microdermabrasion-type product when I was younger. But I noticed that after 50, they caused micro-tears in my skin and an actual rash on my skin after using. I started to use a peeling -type gel and/ or glycolic acid once a week and these work much better. My skin is smooth, soft, and glowing instead of scratched and irritated.

For BHA the Paula's choice one is my HG, and for AHA I just stick to the ordinary 10% lactic acid. I tried mizon glycolic acid 8% which was fine and I surprisingly didn't react to it but switched to lactic acid after finishing it based on your advice. I can't wait to buy your exfoliant! I don't see any products with a mix of lactic and mandelic compared to glycolic and lactic.

Man i got Paula's choice bha few months ago. Started using it once a week, while i did notice soft glowy skin the very next day, i also noticed a lot of bumps on my skin. Checked the ingredients and realised it's got polysorbate 20 in it which is a major FA trigger 😭 I hate that i can't use it.

Dr, I recently started using the Ordinary‘a Glycolic acid toner. Everything bad that could happen, happened. Flakiness. Basal layer exposed. Dryness where I usually would be oily. And it’s taking a while to normalize. I really wanted to like it but it’s too much for me to use daily. I used it three times in a week and… well, I’m suffering. Now resorting to slugging and considering returning it in favor of lactic acid. I did wonder if adding water to my cloth and then the glycolic acid to raise the pH slightly? Or once a week?

I have begun using retinol serum1% and I have azelaic acid suspension 10% and niacinamide and zinc. I'm trying to find a routine to use these products to treat hyperpigmentation and clogged pores. I use a face wash with salacylic acid from nuetragena face wash. And for moisturizer I use cerave cream. I have not been using the serums together some nights I use emu oil to keep my skin from drying out. I also use an acne mask maybe once a month a clay mask with BHA in it. I'm new to these products and I'm 44. Will I have to keep doing this routine all the time and I'm I doing it correctly?

The Ordinary has 10% Mandelic Acid . Once a week is good as Dr. V says . But my concern is how to use it. Leave it overnight or few hrs and then wash off the face .

But I have sensitive oily acne prone skin. Should I exfoliate? Or should I just use exfoliating peel mask like Innisfree Volcanic Calming Pore Clay Mask?

Hi Dr. V, are you going to make body anti-aging oil for purchase? I need it very bad! I’m 38, my face don’t have wrinkles but my thigh kinda of does! When I grab my skin there, I’ll show wrinkles and dry. Even I already am doing what you suggested on your winter body care.

I have oily acne prone skin and I wear makeup at times. I double cleanse to remove makeup, but i find that I have to use my TAO orbit face brush to remove the leftover makeup. How would you suggest to properly cleanse my skin without having to use the face brush?

Hello doc v , my skin is combination type and acne prone on my cheeks and forehead, If I use 2% salicylic acid facewash from minimalist it turned dry , and I also have dull skin with pigmentation around mouth , so can u please tell how can I used bha, AHA mandelic acid and vitamin c for my skin and during this winter season ? My skin is also sensitive to most products so I have incorporated pha Tonner from minimalist recently

Hello Dr , Pls recommend some gentle low ph gel cleanser for acne prone skin. The shower water in my city is too alkaline , im not sure if that's the cause of my skin breaking , but that's my best guess . will Mi cellar cleanser do the trick ? or cleanser would be needed ... Thanks
