Cameron Monaghan 4 months ago Same here too. The Sontarans had a great Military theme song in the episode "The Two Doctors" that should have in my opinion, have been used more often in modern Doctor Who too.

I'm amazed this soundtrack has never gotten a CD release. It's by far the best of the classic series.

when I think sontarans this is what springs to mind, such a good theme for them, sounds military which fits them

Great Suite here! This is easily the best Sontaran Theme in the entire history! (Quick correction for the description as it says Malcolm Clarke composed this when it was actually Peter Howell)

Energy weapons are fired nearby.) JAMIE: What's that? DOCTOR 2: I would have thought a Jacobite would recognise that sound. (A man in a lab coat runs in.) SCIENTIST: Professor! (And is immediately killed by an energy beam. Smoke starts to pour in.) DOCTOR 2: Jamie, run. JAMIE: What? DOCTOR 2: Run, I say! Save yourself! (Jamie leaves by another exit whilst the Doctor raises his hands to a Sontaran pointing a weapon at him.)
