It says "calendar date" - Ruby is from 2024, but they're in the future.

because they are in the future and it clearly has records of her birth year of 2004 so ofc it says 3082 years old, the machine won't know any differnet. Pretty easy to understand.

She's not 3082 years old. She's still 19, but because they traveled to the far future, as far as history is concerned, Ruby Sunday was born in 2004. So, the algorithm simply did the math based on the current year. It's a pretty basic process of time travel.

I know it sounds silly right now, but that's a pretty good acted reaction. When people are hit with so much sudden grief, it takes a minute for their body to catch up. So if when they try express something by talking, it usually comes out as a half-word or just a noise.
