0:20 Great job putting an actual clip from Tomb of the Cybermen when they talk about it. Even the special edition on DVD that came out waaaayy after Tomb was found didn’t fix that part.

There wasn't a Special Edition of Earthshock. It wasn't even a feesable option for them when they had just started doing the CGI enhancements. It wasn't destined to happen sadly.

Feels kind of weird now to think that all 4 parts of "Tomb of the Cybermen" were entirely missing at the time "Earthshock" aired. But then I feel the same way about "The Enemy of the World".

i know its LITERALLY impossible for stuff like this to ever happen, but imagine watching an episode some day down the line and there's a scene filled with then unseen Doctors, then years later we see all of these scenes in their own episodes

This is a 5th doctor story, one where they caused the extinction of the dinosaurs. If they're looking at future doctors then where's David Tennant story, where they got defeated by the daleks

Not really. The Capaldi story is on a Mondasian ship, placing it before Mondas was destroyed (1985), and the Sixth and Seventh Doctor stories are set in what was then the modern day. Earthshock takes place in the distant future, meaning they could easily have that footage.

The Cybermen at the Battle of Canary Wharf were from a parallel universe and had nothing to do with them plus they never saw it happen so they wouldn't have it recorded.

In the 'universe' where Earthshock was almost as it was in our 'universe' but the Cybermen had met the Doc in a different order. Is the editor going to tackle the Daleks next? Like a edit of Resurrection of the Daleks or Day of the Daleks or maybe tackle the flashbacks in Mawdryn Undead? 'cos there's a bit of business that gets overlooked, although we know that The Doc first met the Cybermen in Tenth Planet, the Sixth Doc met some a year before in Attack of the Cybermen, although it was of course filmed in the other order, seems like it's a bit timey-whimey

I know about the TImeless Child and actually love the storyline (Fun fact: they were doing something similar with the Doctor's origins during the last few seasons of the Original Series. So, really, this isn't just Chibnall's idea. It's something other people have seen in the character and it actually makes a lot of sense).

similar to this (it's a great edit) but the clip for Tomb of the Cybermen is different (the original came from Wheel in Space, because Tomb was still lost when Earthshock was made) and obviously there's no clips of the Sixth, Seventh or Twelfth Doctors, or the Raston Warrior Robot, in the original version as those scenes are from episodes made after Earthshock :)
