Good call, Character! Wasn't planning on getting this set as I already had the earlier Davros and a good number of variant Genesis Daleks but the improvements and extra features make this the best Dalek figure release in ages.

I'm glad figures are still being made all these years later

I recall getting my genesis set with the two daleks davros and that when I was a child and seeing the comparison now is awesome that they’re improving the models.

Playing catch up on these sets seems to be my new hobby.. and a expensive one. I am based in Canada and Love all the attention the 4th Doctor Stories are getting!!

In my opinion this is one of the best sets we’ve had in the last 4 years

Just opened up this set and couldn't remember what those two accessories were until you said, then the image popped into my mind. The Davros figure is stunning, the reason why I bought this.

Now if we can only just find these elusive little buggers!

Nice! Good review... 😊 I have the original Genesis set, but this looks excellent! A nice upgrade on the Dalek colours, and having the removable gun is a fun feature! Thew one thing I'm not keen on with these new Dalek figures (and now Davros), is the wear and damage marking on the fenders; it doesn't look natural...just looks like someone in a factory can't be arsed and paints random streaks without even knowing what they represent! (Which probably is the truth... 😞). IF I can manage to find one of these, I'll be very happy, but I will do a bit of painting to hide that wear & tear streaking!

Definitely my favourite set of wave 2. Closely followed by the history drone 2 pack.

I'm hoping they do a character 3 pack that has Nyder, Gharman and Ronson in it.

I rewatched Genesis of the daleks and still got the original dalek figures from this story. And I really looking forward to the 4th doctor dalek stories. Also this was part of the time lord victorious

I'm hoping next year we'll get the David Gooderson Davros (with Dalek Battle Computer) and a Bomber Dalek, since this year's Destiny set didn't have one. Also potential for them to reuse the opening dome piece for a Resurrection Dalek to put with Davros.

This set is awesome!!! And its amazing how much play value and FUN some teeny bits of plastic can add to these sets be it a cyber mob, a Voord Knife, Robot Hands, Sensorite egg beaters, it’s just very welcome and I hope we get more accessories with future sets!!! All in all one of the bets sets CO has done and I prefer this Dalek’s “joints” to the usual screwed on bar, I think this is better all around. I also thought the Dalek was too dark, but now that I’ve seen your review and the Dalek in decent lighting it looks sooooo good!!! Davros is better, though I would have preferred them redoing the cranial wires with something even thinner, but easily rectified with 3D printing or some wires! :-) A Must Have Set!!! :-)

Was kinda on the fence because I customised my _Planet of the Daleks_ Dalek to look like the bronze gun _Genesis_ one and already had a Terry Molly Davros. But the removable gun and plunger gimmick made this an instant buy.

You can easily fix the wonky backrest on your old Davros, it's just soft plastic. It's not a flaw with the toy, it was caused by the packaging bubble. Simply get a hairdryer, heat it up for about 30 seconds. It will return to its proper shape. Pop it in the freezer for a few minutes to cool it back down, and it will look a lot better.

A very exciting set

I've seen the original prop of Davros's chair. It's hard to believe what a messy heap of mis-aligned wood and cardboard it is, with a crazy uneven finish from all the paint that's been slopped on it every time it needed a touch up.

In my opinion, this is the best set realised in the entire B&M exclusive figures

They really need to start selling these sets in other shops because they're basically nonexistent in B&M a great set to look forward to getting but Disappointing after you get to the 7th B&M and they still haven't bothered stocking them

And side note love to see an imperial dalek with a correct skirt

I'm sure you've been asked this a million times but is the rendition of the dw theme you use in all your vids from somwhere or have you created it yourself

If there's anyone in the UK who would be down to ship some of these new sets to Belgium, let me know! I'd love to get my hands on them, they truly look amazing but scalpers on eBay are a nightmare to deal with

Trouble is people buy all these then try and rip people off on Ebay which is such a shame :(.

Character are sure getting a lot of mileage out of that imperial dalek base, it's not the separated 2 piece base last seen on dalek alpha/anti lightwave dalek, the parts are together

The original Character options forbidden planet Doctor Who Genesis of the daleks set came out in 2011 Not 2010

Head-wise, I think I prefer the paint on the previous Davros. Everything else looks better on the new one but that paintjob is so gloopy and heavy, I think it does more harm to the excellent sculpt that the previous job.

Are they already own in shops yet

My B&m store where I live is rubbish. They never seem to have any Doctor Who stock, so I’ll probably buy these online

I hope B&M release the David Gooderson Davros, I can then sell my Forbidden Planet signed Destiny set. What is a shame is we won't get a reissue of the Emperor.

I wish Character would start selling stuff online, Daleks especially. Too much scalping nowadays, lol. Thank god Jungles of Mechanus wasn't a "Seek and locate" set.

Just seems the grey is too dark on the Dalek. Seems to have lost that grey/blue hue as seen in the original episode of Genesis.

B&m south don’t bother especially in Hertfordshire all there is shitty doll things and bobble heads

I hadn't realised everyone had their preview sets already, I guess I might have if I hadn't been away on holiday , though I wouldn't want to assume anything. This is a lovely set, can't wait to get hold of one, I missed genesis Davros first time around, it was one of my absolute top most wanted figures, and that wash is a huge upgrade on the face

IMO Davros’ face on the original 2011 release is far better, to me it’s much closer to the way he looks in the episode. If nothing else it’s nicer to look at than the re-release.

I still wonder if Davros in the chair was inspired by Captain Pike from Star Trek's 'the cage'?
