I'd often miss saturday morning cartoons due to baseball games, etc. So, I'd set our VCR to record what I'd miss (usually The Real Ghostbusters). I found some of those tapes in a cabinet, and that's where all of these commercials came from. Brought back lots of feels!

I watched the VHS tape these came from multiple times before I ever got around to digitizing them

@@TheRadiostar72 For real. These literally came from VHS tapes I used to record Saturday morning cartoons when I'd have to miss them for Little League haha ... I came across them when emptying out storage containers. I have some more from the 90s that I need to transfer.

Same. These are my actual tapes as a kid. I found these in a storage box at my parents'. Baseball games were always on Spring Saturdays as a kid, so I'd have to record my cartoons for later in the day.

I used to record Saturday morning cartoons when I’d miss them some weekends. I just happened to find some of the tapes when cleaning out some cabinets. I have more I need to go through still! There’s a whole Wikipedia article on Showbiz Pizza. They were under the same company since the mid-80’s. Lots of weird legal stuff happened and they just rebranded them all as Chuck E Cheese in 1992. Fun fact: Chuck E Cheese was founded by Nolan Bushnell, the founder of Atari.

I don’t recall having to take anything down from this video, but I’ll check. I know exactly what you’re talking about and I shouldn’t unless I had to see it a bunch while editing.
