I actually love the CeraVe 50. I don't care that it turns me white as a ghost while I'm doing farm chores. I burn so easily and the sun feels like I'm being baked in a microwave. This keeps the heat off me and I never burn. If you burn and don't mind the white cast, it's great.

I generally steer clear of chemical sunscreens (from the US) cause I’m always allergic to them, but this year I’ve found some awesome mineral ones! For face i use the Everyday tinted sunscreen by Unsun & it’s probably the most comfortable one I’ve tried that’s mineral. For body the Native mineral sunscreen. It’s weird to apply at first but once you rub it in, it disappears into your skin! No sticky gross white lines in your elbow creases or that sticky coating all over!

Hi guys, I’m very surprised that you are not trying and recommending more Eucerin skincare products. In Europe dermatologists adore this brand and it is widely accepted and recommended. From the entire skincare I have bought in North America only Eucerin is making me try and buy more and more. My sensitive skin is tolerating their products surprisingly well. Hopefully my suggestion is not annoying you. I love and appreciate your work!

I love your videos, this one was especially helpful in determining which of the drug store options you recommended and ones to avoid. I was wondering if applying sunscreen to eyelids are recommended? I obviously know to be careful around the eyes but not 100% sure. Also, any advice about red-light therapy masks and whether the eyelids are shielded enough from the masks. I use the Omnilux mask and when I use it 4-5 days a week, I notice the eyelid area becomes irritated and a feeling like my eyelids are "being stretched", they even "appear" that way. Any comments would be appreciated. Best regards, Marsonne

As someone who is always searching for the best budget products, I really thought the Eucerin daily protection spf 30 was going to be great, but I literally have to wash it off my face and apply something else almost every time I use it. It only works (usually) if my skin is maximally exfoliated (before I start getting irritated) and also use no other products (after cleansing). It pills so much. Even on top of itself. I have heard such great reviews of this product from trustworthy derms, so that's why I say, it may not be a guaranteed dollar-well-spent. I love Eucerin products usually, just not that one. Just a note for sunscreen reviews, its super important to note the tone / opacity of tinted sunscreens for different skin tones (light/dark)

Kinda off-topic, but I have a pretty severe allergy towards UV-A and I recently discovered it seems to reach over into the blue wavelengths as well. Do you know any sunscreen which would protect against that? I mean it would probably have to leave some kind of cast, since it needs to block visible light, but I would be ok with that. Thanks a bunch!

What are good moisturizers for teens? Can they use the same products as you have recommended for adults? So far they have normal skin in summer, a little drier in winter. This year I tried Blue lizard sensitive sunscreen sticks that you apply to your face like you reply deodorant . I find it in the humid weather it has the advantage of adhering much better to the skin then the typical spreadable versions . Also while all the sun screens you mentioned might be great for the face you would use them too quickly for the body as they are sold in small quantities . For the body I find that sprays are the most economical and easy way to go .

Love your channel and your great product reviews! Next time you are comparing product costs can you report cost per ounce? This would allow an apples to apples comparison for us true budget shoppers.

I love what y'all do and appreciate you you both SO MUCH, but I have to say, I feel like it's a bit misleading to discuss budget options when comparing price per PRODUCT, rather than price per ounce. Sure, these sunscreens are all under $20, but when you start taking the size of the packaging into consideration, some can actually end up being more expensive than some of the more "luxury" products out there. For example, the Neutrogena Hydroboost Moisturizer with SPF 50 is $20, however, you only get 1.7oz (or $11.76 per oz). On the other hand, a more "luxury" brand like Supergoop sells their Play Everyday Lotion SPF 50 for $34, but you also get 5.5oz (or $6.18 per oz!). So in this case, Supergoop would actually be more affordable (and last significantly longer) than Neutrogena. I feel like truly affordable sunscreens tend to be sold around the ~$3 or less per oz price point, and also tend to be sold in larger packaging, so it'd be amazing if you could review some of those options!

Hi! Not sure I'll get a response at all bu here is my challenge with sunscreens for my face. Start the day with a fresh for the world to see. Moisturizer goes on, sunscreen, goes, all of the take care of my face products go on, foundation, eye shadow, blush... you name it goes on. Two hours later how do we put sunscreen on over all that? You're mentioned some "all in one" products that are coming onto the market & I'm very thankful. Especially because sunscreen, yes, is the most important. However this can become kinda tricky business. Messing up, gooping up the layers of powder, and otherwise, placed on the face to start the day. Have clients asked about this?

I'd love it if you did a video on mineral sunscreen use and it's reliability. Weirdly, the UK website which?, An independent reviewer, tested a lot of sunscreens and most of the mineral sunscreens failed to meet the SPF label specified over two tests, and they were from big name brands with a high price tag

@@wolffennec474 which? Does lab tests and they said they sent it to independent laboratories that test sunscreens. And they do multiple tests even if it fails. All the chemical sunscreens seemed to pass, all the mineral ones failed two repeat tests, including the Hawaiian tropics milk sunscreen that I use, it's SPF 30 but provided under spf15. There was also a £36 mineral sunscreen that failed, and the companies that commented basically made excuses or argued they also have them checked. It's made me less trusting of them but I'm allergic to chemical sunscreen so I buy high spf mineral
