So Poppa Chubby was gig'n at Buddy Guy's in Chicago one night, and the opening act's drummer was in a car accident...The Opening act decided to cancel, Not only did he (Poppa Chubby)play drums for the opening act: he paid the lead singer(of the opening act band) and said, " I hear it's your wedding anniversary, enjoy tonight on me!!!!" Woods 82nd AIRBORNE US ARMY I was in the VIP section and witnessed the whole thing!!!!! My RANGER buddy Grathoff and I will always remember Poppa's Awesomeness!!!!!!!!!!!

One of the most underrated musicians of this era. Too bad he didn't get all the credit he deserved cause huge record companies have no interest in supporting blues rock and just care about copy&paste pop sh*t, still I'm happy he keeps rocking on. Hope to see him live somewhere, sooner or later.

This guy is an original . Although he seems to mostly do covers he rips them apart and reassembles them so well he makes the songs his own .
