Ryan 9638 yeah people forget how much aero matters once you get up into the triple digits. It’s basically the deciding factor on your cars top speed. If you took the wings and diffusers off of some of these HyperCars they wouldn’t go close to as fast

That was actually somewhat neat - the seatbelt alarm went away pretty quickly, so I wonder if that was on purpose so as not to distract the driver. "Whelp, they're already going this fast, yelling about seatbelts would be more dangerous at this point"

you would never see speeds like that real world. Dyno has nothing going against it like grade, wind resistance/aerodynamics, the conditions are near perfect and stay that way during the run...This is not meant to replicate what the car will do in a real world scenario.

Dyno accounts for real road conditions as much as possible with a brake. They turned off the brake in this video no load so it's just a free spinning drum.

The reason it gained speed so easily was yes, because of the power, but also because of the lack of air resistance and that only 2 tires are creating friction instead of 4, still a really cool video.

The reason why it hit 200mph so quickly is due to aerodynamics, 0 drag in a dyno, also the wheels don’t necessarily push the whole car, and it has less rolling resistance due to the front tires not being used.

The Dyno is different than ground speed. On the ground it goes slower because of the way Earths gravity is and the different between the Dyno and the actual ground

@@ajaynorris3526 yes, but the way the dyno is from the ground, there is no sort of resistance from the dyno, unlike the ground. That’s why the hellcat just reached 202 so easily. A hellcat can only go like 180 max on the actual ground

I’m going to sound like a nerd but the last shift you hear is actually not a shift but the torque converter plate attaching to the transmission for a 1 to 1 gear ratio
