Try an oven cleaner product to clean up the burnt parts of the engine. Designed to remove burnt oil/grease. And it’s cheap.

I think it would be badass to keep the valve covers as is and depending on what you do with the blower, at least keep the top cover as is and reuse it on the replacement blower. Would make it very interesting to pop the hood of a clean looking challenger and see the engine that looks like it was on fire(which it was of course 😂). Just a cool aesthetic you couldn't recreate

As someone who has experience with buying a burned engine and gambling on it. Do yourself a favor and pull it apart completely and regasket/reseal the whole thing. Also wouldn’t be a bad idea to pull some main caps and check their condition. As far as the burnt carbon left from the fire, soak it with sea foam deep creep penetrant. It breaks down carbon. Then hit it with a power washer and some super clean

Brother it would be shame to get it all put back together and then find out the rubber seals shriveled under the intense heat of the fire. At least rebuild the top end.

You should put this into an Mark III first gen dakota. There are several for sale on facebook marketplace around the US in varying conditions. Not a single one I saw does the owner actually know what it is. They just think it's a dakota. I love the Shelby and the Lil Red, but the Mark III needs some attention.

I would be concerned about the integrity of the block, heads, supercharger with how hot things got. Think of it as annealing. If it got hot enough to melt aluminum parts then there was enough heat to alter the metal on other parts.

Watched your video about resetting the 7 inch EVIC cluster and was wondering if you have an answer as to why one would default to the TPMS or the Transmission Temp instead of the speedometer, where it was at when it was turned off? It's on a 2018 Ram 1500 pretty much like the one you upgraded.
