Thank you i just bought two keys for Dodge caravan wit only panicmlock and unlock, now i know i can buy one one with power doors and other power ,all i have to do is take it apart and take those little nobs off.

Could a bad battery in the fob also cause the issue of the car doors locking themselves?

I do not think a battery issue in the fob would cause the doors to lock on their own, but you can try it because a battery is inexpensive. Most people begin by replacing the key fob battery.
