Not a fan of the big wheels. The sst wheels polished with a meaty tire look great.

PLEASE take the weight out of the back, it is a light weight half ton, it has soft suspension.

For the dash, try 3M 2 part epoxy plastic weld. It works great and you can grind and shape it.

Wait until you tighten the bed down before keeping it the axle adjustment.

For 300 I’d care for the deep scratches I also expect perfection at that price

I’ve had the best luck using shoe goo and drywall tape for reinforcement, I even do it to my rc car bodies now.

I did a 1 inch spacer with studs to fit with dust cap. Fits 4th gen wheels.

You have to lay the fiberglass fabric down and paint the resin over it. Then it'll hardened like a rock. And it would look better

Get yourself some body shop dollies, that working on the floor, will take its toll in your later years believe me!

Any time you work with plastic and fillers, you have to prep surfaces, I believe those dashes when they dry out, the oil seeps out of the plastic, quick scuff and wipe with wax n grease remover, or acetone

At that price point it better be perfect.

If your gonna use resin on glossy plastic you have to scuff it up for the resin to have something to grab on to

You need to us the 4th Gen Wheel Hubs to do the front tires.

If you plan on running newer dodge wheels just do the 99-01 spindle swap.. had to do it on my 98 ss/t with sport 20s..the original ss/t wheels imo look the most pure 👌🏻

The 98’ to 01’ have a hub less rotor I’m trying to figure out how swap between the 94’ to 97’ spindles but the later upper control arms have a different spacing

00-01 2nd gen changed the suspension to a two piston brake set up and you can fit 4th gen wheels no problem I did it to my 98 8:26

I honestly think those 4th gen wheels are way to big for that truck, stick with the stock sst wheels. It looks way cooler with stock and chrome or aluminum. I don't know what the fascination with big rims are these days 🤔 they cost way more and ride like shit compared to a wheel and tire setup with some actual rubber not just rim. Anyway still going to be cool when done

i used longer arp studs (pn 100-7706), 1/2” billet spacers (baer pn 2000046)and a shorter gm dust cap (dorman pn 13977) on my 99 to get the 4th gen 5 spoke chrome clad wheels on the front.. and they fit perfect, even the oe wheel center cap just misses the shorter gm dust cap

@boostedmotorsports You may have to rotate those rear springs to move that axle more to the rear... did you measure the center bolt to see if it was off-center or centered?

Yea those oem rims look amazing on that truck, that's part of the whole sst ram charm, why give it the typical aftermarket lowered speed parts 2nd gen look anyone can make outta a short bed 2nd gen

I had to Waller out the 08 20s on my 96. The dust cap stuck through didn’t look TERRIBLE. 00-01 I believe changed hubs

the flip kit may acually work out with 4th gem wheels....you should sand the spots u want to glass to get it to stick ...
